I was looking to expand my pizza horizons to find a good option for delivery and wanted to give Crisp a shot. When my food arrived part of my order was missing (The driver confirmed she was only given the pizza when she picked it up from the store) and after double checking my digital receipt to make sure I did order other things I called the store to see what to do.
Since Crisp uses Door Dash to handle deliveries they couldn't call the driver back to pick up the rest of my order and in order to get it sent to me a whole new order would need to be made, so my only option was to get a refund. And again, because they did this through DoorDash I would need to get a refund through them (Despite ordering through Crisp's website and not DoorDash). DoorDash processed most of it but told me Crisp would need to process the rest since it was made by them (They did tell me they sent a Return request).
Calling Crisp again to make sure everything was going smoothly I was informed that they had not received a request but it may have been sent to the Walpole location instead. The employee I was speaking to texted someone in Walpole to see and they said it was there on their system. I then called the Walpole location to make sure everything was good and not only did they not have a record of my order but they claimed no one from the Canton location had contacted anyone in their location.
At this point I was fed up with all the hoops I have had to jump through so far I went directly to the Canton location to process the return in person. The employee did offer to give me my missing items instead but at this point I just wanted the return. The employee then explained that because this was an online order I needed to fill out a little form with information they should already have and that it would need to be processed tomorrow since all online orders can only be processed by the owner. Fingers crossed it'll process but I'll update this review if nothing happens.
All I was looking for was a good option for delivery in town, but if I have to jump through this many hoops when things go wrong I would rather take any of the other options in...
Read moreThis is a new updated review. Have had Crisp both GF & regular pizza take out from both their locations before and always enjoyed their food. Stopped by for lunch today with grandkids one of whom has Celiac disease. We order wings and 2 pizzas. One GF, one regular. Travis our waiter asked if GF was a preference or did someone have Celiac. I told him my grandson did and he told my grandson that he had it too. He assured him he would make sure his pizza was made safely for him as he really understood what the consequences could be if it wasn’t. Travis was extremely pleasant and attentive, talking with my grandson about there shared disease. As a grandparent i always get a little nervous eating out with my grandson. Travis did an amazing job of making me feel at ease and allowing me to fully enjoy my meal. I have been choosing GF pizza out of choice and found it has helped years of stomach discomfort. I have had a lot of good GF pizzas and “Crisp” is as good as any of them. I actually had a small piece of regular pizza today to compare it to the GF and have to say I like it a little better than the regular crust. Our (naked) wings were very good as well. Plenty of wings in the order and very meaty. In closing I have to disclose that one time my grandson had a GF pizza from Crisp and was violently ill afterwards. There is no question that a mistake was made and the owner had a hard time owning up to it. We do love their pizza and have given them many second chances with no issues or problems. Travis made us feel very safe in eating out a “Crisp” today and will do so again...
Read moreI placed a decent sized order for pizza this past Sunday (12/10/2023). Had to try it since it is a new spot nearby, and I am a fan of bar pizza. The order was ready at the set time. It was DELICIOUS!! We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, 3 Sausage Spectacular, Venus Special, and three Pepperoni pizzas on their Cauliflower Crust (gluten free). Everyone enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The kids and my wife, who had the Cauliflower crust, could not tell the difference. My 10 - and 2 year old's were downing them quickly. We will be back to dine in because I liked how clean it was, and we want to try some of the other items on the menu. Thank you, CRISP!
Update - September 14, 2024
I'm disappointed with Crisp today. Went in with my three year old. After being greeted by a gentleman from the bar who said we could sit where we want, we did so. No one approached or brought over a menu. After a couple of minutes, a couple walked in, sat down, and a young man walked right past my son and I and delivered them some menus.. I made eye contact with a young lady who worked there, but she didn't seem interested in trying to correct an oversight. So we left, nothing was promised, so nothing was expected. Will wait before returning, just very...
