We went twice. The first time the service was good, food was pretty good but fairly average (huevos rancheros).

The second time there were 3 of us. We were the only ones there. It took 45 minutes to get our breakfast order. No silverware was provided. One drink didn't come. And one order wasn't even made at all and had to be reordered. Everyone else had finished eating by the time it arrived 15 minutes later. No apology. No offer was made to refund or reduce cost or even an offer for a free pastry. No water refills unless asked for. No one asked if we needed anything. We always had to get up approach the counter if we needed anything (water, silverware, food) Afterwards we wanted to take home pastries but we were pretty much ignored for quite awhile. Mostly the food was unremarkable albeit large portions. The loaded hash browns...

I saw peaches and creme French toast on a FB ad for brunch. I loaded up the family and headed over. I had no idea what was waiting. The best French toast I've ever tasted! It was like eating a cloud. Soft, full of flavor, and delicious! 😋 My wife had the breakfast biscuit and it was also delectable. My Pops and son both got blueberry pancakes. I didn't get a taste but they both said they were amazing. Everthing that was behind the display looked amazing as well. We will definitely be back to enjoy the delicious delights. Nice little cute restaurant/bakery located in downtown Benwheeler, Tx. Stopped by because I always have wanted to. So I finally did. Wasn't crowded at all. Ordered breakfast to go. Which was biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. Wish I had ordered a coffee from their big selection. The food was very good. My son had ordered different pastries to try before and brought them home and those were very delicious so I knew the biscuits were gonna be delicious as well. The young ladies working their were very nice. Would love to pass by again and try something off their lunch...
