This place has really gone downhill lately and it’s very unfortunate because we used to love eating here. We absolutely love their salsa and food normally. This visit, we waited well over an hour for our food only for it to come out cold. We told the waitress that it was cold so she took it back, brought it back out and even then it was only luke warm. We didn’t mind the wait because we understood that they seemed short staffed. However, our food coming out cold is an issue. When we told the waitress that it was cold, she told us that our food had been sitting there for a while. I ended up deciding to package it up to bring home and reheat it myself. Before the waitress brought us our check, I asked her kindly if there was any way that we could get something taken off our check to make up for the cold food. She then got very upset and told us that everyone was upset and had to wait for a long time, and that she couldn’t just give everyone a discount due to that. I tried to explain that it wasn’t the wait time, it was the cold food that was the issue. She barely allowed me to get a word in before saying she would mention it to the manager and left. We ended up only getting 10% off of our check, which was only $3 but I guess it was at least something. Just very disappointed lately with this restaurant. One table besides us ended up getting their food just to go and another had to search for someone to pay for their bill because they both had been waiting so long. The waitress was very unfriendly and very unattentive. We ran out of drinks constantly. The flavor of the food was good but there was nothing giving what heat each dish was. We had a member of our party that could not eat a lot of spice die to a severe medical condition. They ordered the same thing they get at other Mexican Restaurants and one bite literally had them in the er later that night. Although, I do have to say that another member of our party tried the dish and said it wasn't extremely spicy and that all of the heat must've been in that one bite. The atmosphere, decorations ect is absolutely stunning. Like I said, the flavor of the food was really good, they just need to update the menu to show what is hot. We always like giving somewhere at least a 2nd chance so we will do the same here but we will be more careful and ask questions(and hope to get a better server. ) This review is just 1 groups experience. I DID NOT appreciate the way I was treated. We were seated by the karaoke at approximately 6:45pm, we were given our check mid meal and were asked if we were ready leave as apparently a party of 7 had reserved that table before hand. If there had been a reservation, why would they then ask us to leave a few minutes into our meal. It was very inconvenient to have been seated so close to the party section as we had a 1 year old with us and am pregnant. I understand if spacing is an issue, but asking us to basically leave after already being seated inconveniently is flat out rude and irresponsible of them. The server told us her manager asked us to move; we followed up by asking another waitress why we would be asked to move so abruptly, she told us that the manager would NEVER have asked us to move.
