Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Canton

Ordered a double Jr cheesburger, small tots, coke slushie. The burger was a single and cold. It had at least half of a medium sized onion diced on it. I scooped a handful off into the lot before noticing the single status....tots were cold. The coke slushie was JUST SLUSHIE MIXTURE WITH ONE SHOT OF COKE ....NOT COKE SYRUP, JUST REGULAR SODA. It was almost clear and tasted like lemon chemicals. NASTY. I called back inside and explained the delima with slushie. That's when I was told about the one shot recipe. Pitiful experience every time I go lately. The new milkshakes....PITIFUL! The toffee IS ONLY VANILLA. The bourbon butter IS ONLY A CARAMEL SHAKE, the lavender berry....WOW...it's a blueberry shake only. Dont waste your $$$ at the sonic. Not even regular simple menu items can be handled by these KIDS. If the wages go up to $15 an hour at these places....I WILL NEVER EVER SPEND TIME THERE AGAIN. NOT MY MONEY FOR THIS TYPE OF SERVICE AND SO CALLED RECIPES. ..JUST A BAIT AND SWITCH ADVERTISING TO GET YOU DROOLING FOR THAT EXOTIC FLAVOR ADVERTISED. IT'S NOT EXOTIC AT ALL...JUST PITIFUL VANILLA FLAVOR ON MOST ALL OF THEM. I grew up when the sonic was a great treat. Best hamburgers and tots ever. Best shakes. Now? Nope, not my hard earned $$. I give the Canton NC sonic drive in a NEGATIVE (-)2 STAR. THAT'S -2. Or minus two. The Internet won't let me post my true review, I have to give one star. My true reviews are negative due to multiple trips of cold food, poor, SLOW service and bait and switch advertising. Also food quality and serving size...

I hate reporting anything negative about a Canton business, but this has been ongoing and something needs to be said for protection of our citizens. If ANYONE knows the owner, someone needs to inform Decided to make a sweet run to Sonic in Canton. Time on ticket 21:54:22. TKT 297 Ordered moulton lava cake, 2 shakes. Paid for order, 10 minutes later, young man dark hair and Latino woman inform us they don't have lava cake. Offered to put our name on list to get later. Ummm I don't think so. I have never retrieved the food they owed me from mixed up orders and credits. I could fill my dash up with bad service from here. It was obvious this young man has no clue how to credit my account. The scary part is him telling me he will credit the entire amount and ring up again. Ummm no, last time I allowed this a $1.50 charge became $150.00. Took 2 weeks to get money back. I said void the entire sale. So he did, I was going to leave and he gave me the 2 shakes he has quickly made. ??? I wish I hadn't taken them now. I split mine and past the whipped cream, the shake poured like water. FACE PALM, WE DRANK IT ANYWAY! We've been sick all night. SONIC you've finally blown it with me and my neighbors....OFF OUR LIST!...

I really hate to complain but the staff at this location is utterly incompetent time and time again. My most recent visit I ordered a chili dog combo for my 86 year old grandmother with the chili, cheese, and onions on the side. They charged me individually for each item that was supposed to come with the combo excluding the tater tots, they left that out all together, which made the combo cost twice it's original price. I noticed the tater tots were missing and asked about them and they told me if I want tater tots it would be an extra charge. I explained to them that I ordered the Chili Cheese Coney combo with tots a lemonade and the toppings on the side and that there was a mistake on their side. They refused to fix the mistake and only offered the tater tots at an additional cost. I tried to explain to the cashier but it seemed to not register with her. I've taken the issue to corporate. Wouldn't have been a big deal if they had just simply fixed the issue. I will never give this location my...
