Ordered the $40 ribeye medium rare. Got served to me twice and each time I cut into it, and before i could even say anything, the waitress noticed it was completely raw and brought it back both times. When it came back the third time it was burnt on the outside and well done on the inside. Additional it was completely dry due to the fact they kept recooking it. (Each side of a steak should never touch a grill more than once)
Most of the steak was inedible at this point and they didnt offer me a discount and so I had to ask for one considering the meal I was supposed to get they completely destroyed. Upon asking the only discount I got was $15 and basically ended up paying $61 for a couple drinks, a salad and baked potato.
My advice, don't come here. Run as far away as u can. You can get a much better steak for less at a large chain steakhouse that will treat you right and comp you appropriately should they mess up (as we all know, mistakes happen. We're human)
In response to your response. I never threatened anyone. I do not threaten people ever. Kinda weird how you claim i was loud when I was eating by myself and social distanced away from everyone. I'm a very calm quite person. It's quite appalling that a so called, business person (leadership role), would state such blatant lies. I make very good money and have owned a number of very successful businesses. I eat out a lot and spend anywhere from $40 to $200 plus dollars on a single meal just for myself. I understand you are probably quite upset that I put such an accurate review of that evening up but that's no reason for borderline hatespeach. I feel a great majority of restaurant owners would not have taken your unprofessional response to my review. And as I've already stated, I am never stepping foot in your establishment again after my experience there. Pretty moot point for you to now say after my review or Two Rivers failed service to a customer that your restaurant couldn't resolve in an appropriate manner, that I'm no longer aloud there.
Most businesses professionals would attempt to work things out in a non childish manner. Best of luck to you and your business. I hope future patrons of your establishment have a better experience and are treated with respect and professionalism.
P.S. as anyone can see by the photo I've posted, I did not eat all of my steak, a few bites, dry and burnt. Yuck!
My original review was also posted on yelp yesterday evening. I have now posted photos of the owners unprofessional response to that review also so everyone can see. Additional took photos of my response to his and also posted...
Read moreGood evening all, as great as this food was, it just got ruined by a very snobbish waitress, who I gave a generous tip. l ordered an appetizer, a main course followed by a dessert. My tab alone was $96.00 which I have/had no problem with, followed by a 22% tip. Here is some background, I'm in Mississippi (draw your own conclusions) I was the only patron at the time that looked like me (melanated). The gentleman who brought me my entre was a Black man. My waitress periodically asked is there "anything" I needed. But waited on the table that came 20 minutes after I arrived and she frequently asked that table numerous times if they needed anything. Granted there were several people in their party. After I paid my bill and giving such a generous tip, I was told that "you need to leave because there is a party coming". . I've never in my 57 years ever been told something like that. I was offended and dejected. Out of embarrassment I left and asked to speak to a manager. I asked him to come outside to discuss this behavior, and the waitress from hell got wind of it and came storming out to defend her obnoxious behavior, gave me a "Karen" apology and expected me to genuflect at her half hearted apology. I code switchingly, explained to "now Karen" that it wasn't what she said, it was how she said it... To no avail, I guess I was to brachiate and beez glad she apologized. After all this is...
Read moreHonestly, I've given other restaurants 5 stars in the past, and they all deserve to either be reduced, or Two Rivers needs a 7th star. Expertly cooked and crafted food. The steaks are probably among the top two or three I've had in my entire life. The tuna steak is cooked and seasoned to perfection. The salmon special is to die for. Being a weekend, we had the stacked potatoes (like a potato au gratin) and they are the best version we've ever had of them. The veggie sides are also done well. Their bread is freshly baked and done exquisitely. All 3 desserts tried are among the best as well. The creme brulee is a real cream and not just pudding, and torched table side. The Berry tart is freshly made and baked and is worth the wait. The caramel pecan chocolate cake is creamy, chocolatey greatness. Christian also provided service above and beyond the rest. The atmosphere is that of an upscale restaurant without being stuffy or unfriendly. Currently amongst the top restaurants we've ever eaten at, and our future plans will involve stopping nearby just to...
