This will be an unusual 5 star because we are regular guest and I know the owner cares, I did not want to mess up his rating due to the care less attitude of a couple of employees.
First off, we stood at front desk for about 3 minutes or so which seems more like 5 in this context. Almost went next door for Pizza instead.
We were seated, then shortly thereafter greeted by server. She was very subtle in her approach. To identify her, our ticket number was #65, table 32, 8/4/20.
We ordered Wings with blue cheese and celery, Wrap, Basket, and side salad. Shortly all came out fine except celery, wings sitting in soup of sauce. When I asked about celery, the server said, "it doesn't come with it", as if I never ordered it. Again her indifferent attitude was entertaining in a sense, clearly the idea of pride in her work is non existent.
She brought it out about 5 minutes later, brown ends and all, i will upload the pic. I cut the ends off myself, saved them, then at end told her I saved them for the moron that sent them out.
The experience was a joke, and Joel not being there was evident as others cared less. The reason I give 5 stars is in their segment when done right, they do a great job. Warren makes it a point to have fresh shrimp, fresh breaded tenders, etc...to the best of his ability. I can only imagine the database of employees available in today's market reflects the horrible work ethic the younger generation have. I know I am generalizing so those that "have a clue" don't take offense, I see you.
Moral of story, employees, don't embarrass yourselves or your employer. Take pride in your work, and take advantage of what you have. In the same restaurant we provided a $50 tip for two person meal, so the server that served us, no...I am not cheap, just expect your very best each and every time. We were hoping to support you in a big way due to the fear mongering media terrifying your past patrons to death.
Friends,, then need your support, they can't survive on a few tables a night. Take...

By the time our waitress came it was 10 minutes to happy hour, made a joke about having to wait, no reaction, so I said I'd take a water for now, and get a beer when meal came out. Also asked about Veterans day meal and showed ID. Some one else brought meal out. Dropped them and left. Could ask for hot sauce. My burger was overcooked, M vs MR.. waitress went by 8 - 10 times going to other tables, never checked with us. Next time went by, thought about it, backed up and ask if wife needed another water, by twice before water came. Asked me if I wanted more water, never asked about the beer I had wanted. When finished, stacked up plates and waited forever for the check, and she forgot the veterans discount. Another wait for redo on check. With the discount, I would nove tipped 25- 30%, gave Kate 15%, and wife thought that was too much considering the service. Also normally food is great, but today we both thought it was kind of bland, and portion of fries much smaller than normal. A regular spot, but...
Read moreI patronized this pub at about 7:30 PM 28 FEB 2019 with 5 companions. I have eaten here less than a dozen times over the past few years--I'm a seasonal patron. I have experience with just a few menu items: burgers, mahi-mahi, chicken tenders, onion rings & buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips. I've been quite pleased with the staff & food as have been my companions. Many have enjoyed the all-you-can-eat fish selection on Fridays--personally I avoid swai religiously. A week ago on Wednesday (not during the Monday burger special), I had ordered one of the half pound burgers (as described in the menu), but I was served a one third pound burger. One of my companions remarked to me that she suspected that the barbecue sauce used the dreaded corn sweetener (HFCS); another complained that the topping dollop on the dip did not taste of sour cream (as was touted on the menu), but of mayonnaise--she promptly scraped it off; yet another complained that the cabbage of the coleslaw was too coarsely shredded for her palate. In spite of these inequities I will continue patronizing...
