McDonald's — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Just.... do not visit this establishment during dinner hours. The employees are soo incompetent and the managers are not present for the customers when there are issues. If anything the employees are more helpful than the manager we encountered. We waited about 45 mins for food tonight, including waiting an extra 10 out of line because they dropped our food and had to remake it. Asked for new fries because our were cold by the end of it... the manager took our cold fries 😅👌 like I guess if you want to eat them go ahead.. just sucked sitting there so long without even an apology! And we spent almost 60 bucks total. Wasn't just one or two items. Huge bummer, as someone who has been in fast food management for 10 years, you'd never catch me just sending someone off cold like that after messing up so badly. They'd at least get new fries without having to hand the cold ones back ffs. Do better!

I'd like to add, we come here almost daily for breakfast and the folks in the morning are A++

I'm editing my review to add that after living here for almost 2 years near this location it has gotten way worse. The folks at the 2nd window literally just open the window and shove your food out at you without a word or even eye contact. They are just too busy talking amongst themselves. The fact that anyone can review this location as having great employees is ASTONISHING. Go to any other mcdonald's in the area and be treated worlds better. Especially the one down del Prado and the one off of the bridge on summerlin. I'm still salty af that I live next to this garbage heap and not one of the other mcdonald's in the area. OH and my fries are only fully cooked like half of the time so beware of that as well.

3rd edit.. idk why I keep giving this place my business. Maybe because I've loved mcdonald's since I was a kid and it's 15 mins to another location but I'm done. I recently started ordering on the app because it's cheaper in general...but as soon as I started doing that I've been sent to sit in a stall and wait. One time I waited 10 minutes and when I got my food it wasn't even hot and fresh. I've never had this issue before ordering on the app. You cannot get fresh fully cooked fries at this location. They are ALWAYS ALWAYS partially cooked (soggy) and slightly warm. The burgers they claim are 'cooked to order' are cold by the time I get home (I live on the next block) it's just ridiculous. And it seems a ton of people have grievances with them and they have not improved a single bit. I will not visit this location again. I might even contact corp about this because this is just INSANE. I've never ever dealt with a mcdonald's this...

The absolute worst McDonald’s location I have ever been too. I’ve given them one too many chances. I pass this location often and it’s just an easy fast food place to hit but I’m absolutely done now. When I say it’s consistently bad…it’s been consistently bad for over 4 years now. I’m not sure if it’s the same owner who just doesn’t care or what but it’s absolutely bizarre and shame on the owner for letting this place run the way it does. We’re missing items in our bag all the time, after the second time it happened we would just check the order before driving away because it happens so often. If you do delivery, you’re probably going to be missing an item 95% of the time or it will be wrong or both. Apparently, they set it up now on their delivery sites where you cannot get a refund if they don’t give you something or mess your order up so now you’re just out money if they stiff you on your food. For example; I have attached a photo of a Quarter Pounder I ordered with no onions, cheese, mustard, Ketchup and Pickles and I received a quarter pounder with no cheese, bunch of onions and no mustard. I sent the photo into the delivery site and was told McDonalds no longer “offers refunds”…so I called the store and no one answered. I wrote them on Facebook and they insisted someone should contact me and it’s been 5 days, and I have not heard from anyone. Just like last time when we had bones in our nuggets (also attached a picture) and they would not call me back. I actually got a hold of a manager at one point and when I told her I found bones in the chicken nuggets, she hung up on me. I tried to call back and no answer so I gave up. I tried to write McDonalds again on Facebook to let them know I did not receive a call, maybe they could just credit me a quarter pounder on my account so I can get a better one from a different location and they read it and didn’t write back. The amount of money I’ve wasted here and have either received nothing or the wrong item is absolutely insane. Even breakfast is a disaster. Every single time the bacon is undercooked, rubbery and cold. I wish I had unlimited money to run a McDonalds into the ground like the person who runs this one has done because clearly they must have unlimited money and not care if they’re not making any effort to fix this place when the reviews are almost all...

Worst McDonald’s ever. I don’t know why we continue to come here other than it is the closest to our house. Tonight was the worst. We ordered our food. Told that no soda available. So we switched to sweet tea and fruit punch. The drive thru guy started to add more drinks. My husband asked for him to remove the extra drinks. He was unable to and kept adding more drinks. So my husband asked him to start over. The guy said I’ll get manager. Manager comes on mic whispering. My husband asked for him to speak up. My husband explained the order for the 3rd time. The manager finally fixes order. We come up to window and manager was rude. My husband explained we didn’t ask for manager. Explained that our order is wrong every time we come to this McDonald’s. He slammed window. Pulled up for food. Got one bag stuffed with one Big Mac, nuggets and 3 large fries. We ordered 2 Big Macs asked for our 2nd Big Mac. Got home had 9 McNuggets instead of 10, our Big Macs were not made correctly the beef patties were together for both sandwiches. I have not complained before because it is a waste of my time. I’m am shocked how bad it is here. I have sat at the window in the past while the young lady is flirting with a customer inside restaurant while my food sat there waiting to be given to me. I have received a chicken sandwich when I ordered a cheeseburger. How hard is it to read the screen! I have worked at fast food restaurant and I understand how things work. How do you run out of soda? I don’t know how they continue to run such an establishment. I go to the McDonald’s on Cleveland in the morning and get the best service. Try to emulate...
