I only gave food two stars because at least one thing was right on our order. First off, our order was missing one steak grilled cheese burrito. We got something else instead, it had jalapeños which was not requested on this burrito, it was missing cheese, had Chipotle and sour cream, 4 pieces of steak and was missing the cheese on the top and the crunch strips. I went through the drive through and the lady argued with me. I tried giving her the burrito and said you can take it, I cant eat the jalopenos anyways. She got very annoyed. Tried saying its the same thing with the cheese missing on the top, I tried explaining we didnt order jalopenos on that burrito, and it was missing the crunch strips, normal cheese inside and out and there was barely any rice in it. I didnt bite it, but I unwrapped it because I have food allergies and always have to be careful. She eventually remade it. There was 2 or 3 tortillas on my one grilled cheese burrito. Again it had barely to any filling, it was mainly tortilla with non melted cheese on top. My fiance got two chicken grilled cheese burritos and added jalopeno, it was one, very skimpy and two missing the strips, had no shredded cheese. Was alot like mine without the jalopenos. I also ordered my moms and step sisters order. She didnt change gloves after adding jalopenos to my fiance because my mom couldn't eat hers due to tiny pieces and juice on hers. She has stomach issues as well and cant eat spice. I got my step sister one with beef and add tomatoes. The tomatoes were forgotten but she did get the most full burrito out of all of us. They also wanted a quasadilla, that was fine, nothing wrong with it expect very skimpy on the meat. Just agitating when I spend over 50$ on a quick meal, i only complained about one thing bc its what I ordered and couldn't eat it and it became a arguement. I worked in fast food and I never argued with customers, especially not one who tried to hand it back or show you exactly what was wrong. I love taco bell but this made me quite annoyed...
Read moreEveryone in Carbondale was super excited to hear that Taco Bell was going to be in town, but this location didn't do well after opening and has only slightly improved since then.
The interior atmosphere is strange for a few reasons: They never finished decorating, it's always super cold, the seating arrangement wasn't well planned, and it's actually pretty uncomfortable. It's evident the owner isn't very monetarily or physically invested.
The food is usually good, but it always takes forever for it to come out, even during slow hours. This isn't the fault of employee work ethic. Everyone there is always super nice and hard-working. They are just CONSTANTLY understaffed. I've never been there a day they are staffed appropriately. On more than one occasion, I've actually seen ONE person working the counter, the drive-through, and helping on the line. That's cruel and will ruin your business.
You should staff your restaurant for the amount of business you want to receive. If customers are served even half-decent food in the standard fast-food time range, you'll get...
Read moreThis Taco Bell is pathetic. I work right next to it and go there often (due to limited choices). The first time I went I waited half an hour for my food, even though I ordered it on the app 10 minutes before I got there, and then they gave me the wrong food. Another time I went and all I ordered was one soft taco and one packet of hot sauce. There was no line. There was no one in the store. And they still didn’t give me my sauce (which has happened on multiple occasions) I understand I should look in the bag before I leave but I figured a dead slow Taco Bell where all I ordered was one soft taco, would be able to see the ONLY other thing I asked for. On my way home from work I ordered food for me and my boyfriend. Checked the bag this time and everything was there including the sauce. Get home and open our nacho cheese and the picture attached is what we found. Literally...
