Dunkin' — Restaurant in Carlisle

Walked in and placed my order (one hot coffee) with a truly lovely dark haired young lady at the counter. In spite of being very busy and completely overwhelmed, she was friendly and competent. Went to the end of the counter to wait for my coffee. The order ahead of mine was large and I heard the nice young lady ask someone behind the counter to do my coffee first. He did not- and that’s fine- I’m not expecting any special treatment- but within a few minutes, the large order ahead of mine came out followed by both large orders behind mine. When a different employee (blonde woman) approached the pick up area, I asked the status of my coffee and she said it would be ready when it was ready. Another food order came out, and I still had no coffee- again- ONE hot coffee. I inquired of that same employee again and she asked if I was sure I had stood in line to order it… I assured her I did. She then stated that “whelp…” someone else must have taken it- AND WALKED AWAY. I called after her to see if it could please be remade and she literally hugged out a big puff of air and suggested I stand in line again. Not wanting to wait again, I asked for my money back. This woman rolled her eyes and walked away again. Finally, the nice young woman who took my order noticed I was still standing there waiting. She asked if I’d gotten my coffee and she made the drink for me and apologized. I thanked her and informed her that SHE did not owe me an apology and had done nothing wrong at all. I felt bad for her that she has to work with that toxic woman as part of her employment. I definitely recommend Dunkin in general, but I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone considering f THIS Dunkin to steer clear. It’s toxic.
