I was truly let down by both the service and the quality of food during my recent visit. Right from the start, several key ingredients—corn, peppers, and chicken—were unavailable, which forced me to choose a completely different salad than I originally wanted. The worker shared they did not have chicken and offered either salmon or steak. At no point was I informed there would be an additional charge for this, especially since it was replacing the chicken they didn’t have. It wasn’t until I went to pay that I realized I had been charged extra $6. When I brought it up to the worker, she simply said she “had to charge me.” I explained that no one had mentioned there would be an up-charge for a substitution due to them being out of chicken.
To make matters worse, the portion of protein I received was incredibly small—smaller than even the mini pre-packed servings you’d find at Costco. And the avocado? Completely unripe and hard as a rock.

Read moreI don’t live close but anytime I am out this direction I have to stop by to get a bowl. This location every time the employees are so unfriendly and cheap on what they put in the bowls. I ordered today 2 bowls and a kids menu, at the end I asked why the kids menu didn’t have rice? She said I can add it, umm that’s part of the meal, she put the smallest amount on and threw it on top of everything else which this isn’t how it should be. The Parmesan crisps will be soggy by the time I get home and the lack of ingredients for $9 is disappointing, last time they didn’t do the cucumbers! They are strict with no substitutions without charging more, this is not ok, then I asked for a bag which they are out of????? So now carrying 3 things out which as carrying the top one fell! This is not ok and will not be back to this location! I order around once a month for work, and there is always something wrong with my order. Every time I contact sweetgreen support via online, they make it right, so that's appreciated. However, confronting the workers in store to fix what they made wrong is awkward, as they give you major attitude. Today, my sweet potatoes were soaked through with the water liquid from scraping the bottom of a bin of the slaw, so I asked them to just pick out the soaked potatoes and throw on some fresh ones. The girl took them out with her fingers and her back turned towards me over the trash. She then scooped on the fresh ones and by this time, other workers were giving me the side eye and scoffing.
