The HideOut — Restaurant in Carlsbad

Went to the hideout with (3) buddies and initially was annoyed they didn’t have a bathroom. It appears this is currently more of a drive-thru restaurant. Ordered food, and was pleasantly surprised by the hot honey wings. We ordered the 3-meat pizza, the boneless hot buffalo wings, the boneless honey bbq wings, a cream root beer, a blue mermaid, a Philly sandwich, and a soft pretzel. They gave us the hot honey wings instead of the bbq wings, but they were good. They were going to give us the honey bbq wings for free, but since we liked the hot honey wings, we ate them all and told them we would pay for hot honey since we ate them. My buddy who ordered the Philly sandwich said it was good, the soft pretzel was good, the 3 meat pizza was as good as any other option in Carlsbad, and the boneless wings were good. Good place that needs to make some improvements their next fiscal year - close in the overhang area and build more seating with a mini-split for heating and cooling. Large 18 inch pizza! There was no vegetarian pizza on the menu, we ordered a "make your own" pizza with the different veggies toppings and cheese. It was delicious. The cheese bread was good, not great. It had a somewhat overbaked crust.

Service was great, they made our take-out order within 25 minutes. There are 4-5 small tables for dine-in though the place looked more for pickup orders. It had a drive...

This is the best pizza place that ive ever had there pizza is a little greasy but that just makes it better there pinã còlada smoothie was excelent and i would love to try their wings if i lived in new mexico it would be worth the drive just to get pizza i would recomend getting an open sign thought it was hard to tell if it was open from the outside overall the food was great and so was the service...
