I've been here a few times and the owner is amazing and the food is delicious. However, tonight I googled them and placed an order online, as it was an option. I went in at the suggested time and was told by a blonde woman that they don't do anything online. I told her it was on their Google page to order online and she said I was the 3rd person in 2 weeks to "make that mistake". Like it was my fault. Then she said we should call the police because it's a scam....okay. I canceled my order and she just walked away into the kitchen and started banging things around. After a few minutes another employee caught my eye and I asked if she were coming back. The blonde woman finally walked out of the kitchen and I asked "Are you coming back? You just walked away from me." She said, "I had to go do something. What else do you want me to say?" I said, "I was going to order, but you just walked away." THEN she actually smiled at me, but I told her I wouldn't be ordering after her rudeness. I left, and she greeted the person behind me with kindness. I would give this store 5 stars just for the food and the owner. But I've seen this blonde lady be rude to others before and I felt very offended. I understand if the online ordering was out of their hands; I was able to cancel my order just fine. Google can be fixed. But....to just walk away without even saying anything? After yelling at me about them not accepting...

Adel and his wife are great people!

Per the recommendation of Michelle (our favorite member of the Circle K staff), my wife and I stopped by Adel’s Gyros Pub & Grill for an early, afternoon date.

Adel noticed right away that we were not there for a quick, grab-and-go, takeout meal. When he brought out our food, it was served on white plates; the salad, entree… and dessert. Well, not quite, it was even better than that. The dessert was served on a special, unique plate. And everything was delicious!

We enjoyed the afternoon - spent in conversation, sipping wine and enjoying all the tasty food. Adel left us the bottle of wine, even though we were undecided as to whether my wife wanted one glass or more, since I was already having a metazoa, nap in the hammock, beer. I’m glad he did! At Adel’s, approval we stayed a couple more hours, since I had a glass from the bottle as well and wanted to make sure I was as sober as a judge.

We had such a good time listening to the sound of an exotic, foreign language in the background, while our thoughts went back to fond memories of Eastern Europe.

We were so very impressed with how we chose to spend our afternoon. We recommend that you spend a little time with Adel as well. Tell them Jeff sent you. He will remember the twinkle in my...

I had heard good reviews about this place, but since not in my usual route, I never had the opportunity to try it before. So one day when I had finished work early, I decided to pick up food from the place for our dinner. Arrived around 3.30 pm. Non descriptive place but clean. There was one person behind the counter who took the order, got the food going and had it ready to pickup in 15 minutes. I ordered spicy gyro sandwich ( which comes with a mini salad and yogurt with cucumbers. The meat was plentiful and flavorful and not hot spicy; served on pita bread); spicy chicken schwarma sandwich ( the meat looked great, but dry meat and not as flavorful; came with hummus and cucumber yogurt), and falafel sandwich( falafel was disappointingly flat tasting- needed salt flavoring- likely was this batch; with hummus and cucumber yogurt). I asked for a takeaway menu sheet ( so can call in order before pickup), but they didn't have or carry any, so took a snapshot of their menu. Reasonable pricing. Can use credit cards. If I were to order any time in near future, I likely will go...

Our first time here. This restaurant is owned and ran by a very hard working husband and wife. The inside dining area was clean and orderly. My wife and I both ordered a Gyro along with the cucumber/onion salad, drinks and two baklava. On arrival the food was hot and very plentiful. The gyro meat was seasoned well and the pita bread had just the right texture. The only downfall was the pita could not hold the total quantity of meat! Along with the sandwich came tzatziki sauce, fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Along with excellent food you are blessed with the wonderful personalities of the owners. They are engaging and want to know about their customers. This is a big reason I like supporting family owned small businesses. Please go enjoy a Greek & Mediterranean meal. They will love feeding you. Adel may likely tell you he will feed you before you are charged, just in case you don’t care for his food. Trust me, you will pay and plan a return visit.

It's been a few years since I had it. Based on my past experiences, I was really curious if you would still be open. So I thought I would give it a try again. The honest thing is food is good but the service is not so great. He makes one order at a time with care. (In itself great) But also with no sense of urgency and not always in the order received. What should be a place that you can go in for a relatively quick bite can easily take over an hour to get your food. It doesn't have the casual dining atmosphere where it's pleasurable to sit and talk with your friends and have a few drinks while you're waiting. Definitely would not recommend for somebody on their lunch break or in a hurry. Here is my old review from several years ago: Small place, but aren't some of the best places small? Food made fresh with nice size portions. What I had was flavorful. Adel is super nice.

Adel’s is a pretty laid back Greek joint a couple miles south of the Carmel City Center. I had never heard about it but I’ve driven by it a few times and decided to stop in earlier this weekend. We were the only ones in the place upon arrival but there were plenty of people coming in for take out orders. They have a decently sized menu with lots of Greek classics. I went with the Regular Gyro with a side of fries. And I gotta say, this Gyro was great! It was also HUGE! The meat was seasoned really well, the fries were decent. But to top it all off, the employees were SUPER friendly and checked on us frequently while eating. They were really chatty and overall were running the place really well! It turns out, they actually had a fire a while back and they just reopened last month. Overall, this was a great experience! I’ll definitely return.
