We walked past a handful of places and took a random shot at a meal here -- and boy are glad we did!! The atmosphere is great. We were greeted warmly and sat immediately, even though there were other guests. Then, as we were waiting for our drinks, the owner came out and introduced himself and his wife, Ferrari. He's Argentinian-born and she's from Italy, so they started this amazing little restaurant with all their favorite dishes. Hearing the owner describe the menu, it was clear he takes personal responsibility -- and pride-- in the offerings. When the meals came, we were blown away. The flavors were balanced and complementary. It felt like going to a friends house for dinner. The toppings are all traditional (no Hawaiian, chicken, or plantains), generously thick, and very well crafted, served on a light crust. So far we've had the Fugazzeta (onion), Barsotelli (eggplant and ham), the Coronel (ham and onion) and the Don Sergio (blue cheese), all of which were delicious. The ambience is inside of a mini market wich is very fun and had a interesting selection, and that make the pizza place unique and great because there is an infinite selection of beers, botteled juices and water.
