I wish I could give it 0 stars I will leave a detailed review with respect
I. Ordered the âfajita quesadillaâ by most restaurants that means Chicken or Steak, Bell peppers, Onions, white queso inside ⢠it usually comes with a full salad and 2 sides
II. Most restaurants have (2) sizes of queso so if you donât want to spend $4.99 you can spend $2.25 but no. Not this restaurant. They were really aggressive about it and that made me not feel irritated
III. They also offer a lunch portion at most restaurants even during dinner times. This restaurant does not.
⢠The queso tastes bland ⢠Rice is very good, nice quality and texture ⢠Chicken w cheese quesadilla just tastes awful and not worth a $19.99 meal. Taco Bell, produces more quality at better prices and that isnât a restaurant.
⢠I wasnât given a salad. I was given just lettuce in a box. I felt like an immigrant who just got their first meal off a truck
It upset my stomach and ruined my experience. People who lose money in restaurants blame the government. No, your establishment cares nothing for the customer experience, the factor of costs versus quality controls and you have no bearing on menu items. Great money making restaurants have about 10-15 items on a main course menu. You have about 45 and they mostly confuse people.
However** Below is the best Mexican restaurant in the area and itâs 5 miles from this restaurant. I would usually go here however itâs not as close to my home on 15-501 as this one is that sucks.
I highly recommend : âCompadres...
Read moreI thought this would be a regular visit as before the name changed but I was WRONG. Arrived around 10:30 PM for a quick drink and snack of chori queso at the bar area. Had to wait a while for service, then got drinks finally. The server had me to point to what I wanted because she couldn't undertand me then STILL brought out plain cheese dip, took it back and returned with chorizo in it and the frozen margarita wasn't quite frozen anymore; they must've turned the machine off already. When we were ready to pay had to wave people down and no one came. When some guys finally saw us trying to wave at her he sent her over. We got the check and the prices were higher than the listed menu prices so I asked about it and she couldn't explain OF COURSE, no surprise there so the other guy stated that since it's Karaoke night and it's after 10 PM the prices are higher. . . WHICH ISN'T POSTED ANYWHERE stating that. When we walked in she asked if we were here for Karaoke and we replied no and she seated us at the bar. This used to be a go to for me but I can HONESTLY say that I won't be going back. I paid cash to avoid a POSSIBLE additional 4% charge increase which the table card states that they have the right to charge you an additional. 4% on debit and credit cards. This place is a F'ing rip off. Go some place else for better service where you'll pay for what the...
Read moreHas to be the worst mexican food I have ever had. Not joking After reading the reviews we were pretty sure that we had found a hidden gem. I ordered dinner portion steak fajitas. My wife had the lunch portion steak fajitas. The steak was not only dry and cold but it tasted like mushrooms or cross contamination. The onions and green peppers were practically uncooked. Almost raw. The refried beans were pathetic and almost had a mushroomy taste as well. The rice tasted like boiled rice out of a box. The only positives I can say is that my jarrito soda tasted good as expected and the tortillas were okay. The salsa was bland unsalted and watery. The tortilla chips tasted as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The only reason that I did not go back to request a refund is because I was watching the office and having a good laugh. But this place is no joke.
Head to Durham to eat some los tres and get double the food and double the quality for half the money. Or a few blocks down the road has an amazing little taco shop connected to a eagles gas station. There you will find authentic Mexican food this place is about as phony...
