Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Carrollton

They try to steal from you. Eduardo was in the manager on duty an escalated a situation where the restaurant over charge me and refused to refund me. I was overcharge and when I mentioned it to the Eduardo because he claimed to be the manager even though he did not have a uniform that match the rest of the staff as it was not clothing that said Church's. He also claimed that he was not the manager at times and was not able to issue a refund. I asked him than who was in charge and than he sated that he was in charge. After I coached him on how to run the POS system on how to issue a refund he escalate the situation after I asked for my receipt. He said NO!!!! Eduardo got really upset when I mentioned that it was company policy to give me my receipt and try to use intimidation tactics on myself and my wife, who he outweighs and is about a whole foot taller. I had to convince him to give me my receipt by mentioning that this could be solve by just voiding the transaction. I mentioned that additional training should be done at this store and that's when he decided that it was ok for him to release my food my Bank card and my receipt. Eduardo held my bank card hostage until he felt fit. I doubt that High Bluff Capital Partners include these actions in their training program. I would like a resulting to this...

I went to the church's chicken in Carrollton on 2020 Beltline Rd. This was a huge mistake I ordered a 8 piece of chicken and was charged for a 12 piece of chicken. When my husband pointed out the mistake the cashier went to the cash register and got a dollar bill and said that the manager told him that that was the difference. My husband asked why he was being handed a dollar bill when he ordered the 8 piece and was charged for a 12 piece because a dollar is definitely not the difference. At this point the manager who identified himself as Eduardo was the very rude and kurt and said that the dollar was the difference because the sides were larger and then he proceeded to say that if we had further complaints that we could not get helped until the morning... the next day. I have to call corporate and it wasn't until the man heard and saw me call corporate that he decided he was going to refund my husband the actual difference between a 12 piece and a 8 piece and process the order properly and not only was Eduardo very rude and Kurt but Eduardo along with another one of his co-workers pulled out their telephones and began to record my husband and I simply for asking for a refund Do not recommend if I could give 0 stars I would not send my worst enemy...

I will give them a three and a half technically. But we'll go ahead and round it up to four. Everything was fresh. Even though it was about 15 minutes before they were closed. Had the Texas tenders and shrimp combo. Wish there could have been more of tinder's and shrimp. Maybe one more tender and a few more shrimp. Doesn't seem like anything was re-cooked or dropped again into the grease just a warm it up. Fries were seasoned well. Tenders and shrimp or season will. Really did not need the dipping sauce. The lower score honestly was because the sauce is were not good. Not a Cocktail sauce or honey barbecue person. I found some hot mustard sauce which I used and some spicy ketchup for the fries. Biscuit good as always. Love that honey butter buttermilk biscuit. Had water to drink. Reasonably priced.
