Chop House Cheddar Burger: 5 out of 5 burbs! Very few food items make me squeal like a girl, but not one of them that even comes close to this burger! The next closest would have to be...wait a minute. If I tell you now then that ruins the surprise won't it? This is about as good as it gets. So you ask, "What's so special about it?" Well read this: "The burger features two 100 percent fresh, never frozen, American beef patties grilled to perfection, topped with grilled onions (my ONLY exception to my grilled onion hatred), melted shredded cheddar cheese, two slices of crispy bacon and creamy steak sauce on a fresh, toasted five-inch bun." BAMF! Take that you! Yeah that's what you get for asking. I was so excited about this coming back that last night when I saw the commercial, I was this close to getting out of bed and driving to get one. So today when it was time for lunch, I jumped up and ran like Charlie in the original Willy Wonka movie. I hugged the security guard downstairs and said, "I'm off to Whataburger my good sir, for it's back!" "What's back?" the guard asked? "Why it's the Chop House Cheddar Burger it is!" With excitement in his voice, the guard yells out to me, "RUN AARON! Run and don't stop for anything!" Da dada-daaaa dada daa! I get in the Challenger, power the engine up and speed off down the parking garage narrowly running over the maintenance man. He puts his hands on the sides of his waist and smiles while shaking his head as if to say, "Oh youuuu." I get to Whataburger and scream out that I want the Chop House Cheddar Meal! As if they knew I was on my way within minutes I had my burger. At this point I'm drooling with anticipation as I start to unwrap my precious. That's when my phone chimes up with "Weekly meeting...15 minutes" F ME! So I run to the counter and ask for a bag to go. I rush all the way back to the garage once again knocking over the same maintenance guy, speed into my parking spot and kick in the speaker phone. I sit in mute as others talk. Waiting for everyone to go away and then finally the meeting is over. I can't wait for the agonizing 3 minute walk to the building so I decide to sit in the garage and eat my burger. Those that deny I did this will be presented with a picture I took to show that I have proof! Besides, it felt REALLY good outside today so who's the winner now? As with everything, it all has comes to an end as I start to shed a single tear as I look at my now empty wrapper. We'll "meat" again my friend, oh...

I am leaving this review because this is one of the most popular Whataburgers on Beltline Road and yet their drive through moves so slow. There is no reason that I should be able to park my car go and get my food in under 5 minutes and yet I have to wait and drive through for 10 minutes for them to do what needs to be done as it pertains to the the delivery. Customer service at this drive-thru is a zero. They never greet you with a how can I help you they always sound so sad and like you're irritating them by simply coming to purchase food that helps pay their salary. It is a shame that in every other Whataburger in the area you are in and out in the Drive-Thru and yet they put the most unenthusiastic person on the mic and they move extremely slow why does it take 15 10 minutes or even 5 minutes to get food in a Drive-Thru it makes no sense. I'm leaving this comment with the hopes that someone at the corporate levels deals with this problem. Then I drive up to the window and what is clearly the manager is standing there doesn't open the window doesn't greet me doesn't say anything to me takes money out of the drawer and walks away and I'm waiting another 3 minutes. I finally just pulled off and go down the street to Jack In The Box go through the drive-thru place my order pull up to the window pay my money get my food and now I'm home all and...
