Famous Joe's Pizza — Restaurant in Carrollton

I’m not sure how this place has such high reviews it does not keep it’s ‘Joe’s Pizza’ quality standards.

The original Joes is in Carrollton off Josey and Frankford and comparing this franchise is a disgrace. The pizza is extra salty every time I ordered no matter the toppings. You can go to another franchise Josey and BeltLine and even that one is not salty.

The worst part about this restaurant is their service, they are rude and when you call in to place an order. Also don’t go by the hours they have posted on their door or online cause they make up their hours daily. Tried to call an order for pickup at 4 and they said they were closed even though every posted sign says 7.

The manager/owner when asked about the hours they said it’s not worth staying open even though over 5,000 new homes/apartments got built just across the street in the last 3years and they would be the closest pizza...

Just ordered from here for the first time and ordered the calzone, spinach pinwheel and the garlic knots.... when I got home every single item was coated in red pepper flakes, I’m super sensitive to spice so when I order foods I always make sure it doesn’t have anything spicy in it.... none of the signs said that it had red pepper flakes on it. I called the store to ask if it was normal to have that amount of peppers on it and she was not very nice about it. Gave me a very “sorry about your luck that’s how we make it” attitude. It’s unfortunate because I live within a mile of this store but I will not be ordering from them again. And making sure my friends do not as well. Poor customer service, and I’ve worked in restaurants for 15 years and never felt disappointed enough to write a review... guess I’ll just order from...

Very disappointed in Joe's staff today. Me and my husband meet for lunch and eat here a lot, my husband more often as its near his job. Normally am very satisfied with my service an food, not today. I went in placed my order for Mushroom Raviolis and a few minutes later placed my husbands order. Sat down and waited on my husband to arrive. His food came shortly after, however mine took about 30 minutes longer when i got it it was overcooked so I took it back u to the counter to have them remake it, waited and waited, ended up having to take it to go after sitting there for an hour, was late back to work. No apology no nothing, didnt even attempt to make it right. bad service is bad...
