Grand Wok — Restaurant in Carrollton

I came here for 3rd and last time. December 28 th. Came in at 12:30 PM. Only 1 person eating. I wondered why?? There was only 4 small pieces of meat. I am not a vegetarian. Not worth $8.00 I was constipated, but not now

The following is my first review months ago.

This place is in a business district so they are open from 11:00-3:30

Served like a chipotle. Choice of steamed rice fried rice or noodle. And choice of 1 or 2 or 3 entrees. About 8 to pick from PLEANTY of food. Line moves fast. Also they have egg roll and egg drop or hot and sour soup. Only got the 2 entree with noodle and 1 egg roll. Nothing else. This is a place where you get good food and get plenty and get back to work. There is also a Teraky and burger place and a potato restaurant as well only have tryed the wok...

When I want authentic, fresh, plentiful Chinese food…this is where I come. I’ve been coming here a little over 2 years and the food always HITS! The food is always fresh and delicious. Portions are insanely large and I normally eat on one plate for 3 meals. Yeah, the portions are that big. The prices are crazy low for the amount and quality of the food you receive. I do always go during the lunch hours between 12-2pm.

Only thing I dislike about this spot is the hours, the close at 4pm on weekdays and closed on Saturday & Sunday. It’s a pretty odd schedule to me, but I’m sure they have their reasons.

North Texas has yet to suprise me with any descent Chinese food and this place dosnt make any head ways as far as great food. However its the go to spot for lunch if you work in the area. It's quick and fast because the food is already prepared. You just choose your sides. They give you massive portions which you would not be able to finish in one go which makes this place all the worth while. The biggest takeaway from this place is the lack of options. With it being in a small location you won't get a buffet assortment of food. I believe there were maybe 5 or 6 side orders with either...
