Update: 2024 and you can tell there has either been a change in ownership, staff or culture. My chicken over the past 10 times or so has been really dry. Combine that with the fact that I get the spicy teriyaki yet my chicken has NO teriyaki sauce just make this really bad and extra dry. The chili sauce they use has also changed and is not as good IMO and they have not been able to get back to the older more flavorful sauce. I've given it about ten tries before I decided to update my review to see if they would be able to change my mind yet they did not. This is after Kim one of the owners retired. it seems she used to be their quality control stop gap and well the quality certainly is not what it used to be..... at all.
Been coming here for over ten years now! Still the best teriyaki in the DFW period. I only wish they'd open one near my house!
Update: 2021 getting past the pandemic and Still the best in DFW! If you haven't tried it yet you need to go... you will not regret it! #2 Double Rice + and extra hot...
Read moreGREATEST. TERIYAKI. EVER. And friend, they know it. They are so good they only have to be open for lunch. It's incredible. I am in love with this place. If I have the money, I would beg them to let me franchise this place. It is too good. You could open up one of these anywhere in America and it would just crush it.
When I was young, and I only had a bike, I worked in a warehouse about 2 miles from here. Even in the Texas summer I was happy to make the ride here at least twice a week for lunch. I still try to stop here if I am ever anywhere nearby at lunch.
Seriously, this might be my favorite restaurant of all time. Thank you so much for being a wonderful part of my life and the community for all these years. I really appreciate all the effort that went into those experiences you...
Read moreFun place opened only during the weekdays lunch rush. The funny little lady at the front that takes orders and hands out the food is cute when she yells out the number in her loud Korean voice for the entire restaurant to hear. "Numba One" Also somehow she keeps track of who ordered what and attempts to make eye contact with you while yelling the number cuz she remembers who ordered what. Most to her testament in a pretty buzy place that is a hard thing to do, but somehow she does it cheerfully and with persistence. I typically get the #3 which is grilled chicken breast and not the grilled thigh meat. One time I got that and a pulled pork sandwich one the Monday special from Dickies bbq two doors down. I put then together and called them a "Pulled Number Three" Sorry no...
