Clueless host, poor server etiquette. Came in with my wife, a 10 month old and a 3 year old. Asked for a larger booth so I didn't have to put my 10 month old in his car seat in the aisle as they were very narrow to begin with. I was told the section with larger booths was closed. They put us in the first booth and first row that blocked the entire aisle. We ordered a large pizza, a kids pizza (which was free tonight, bonus), and fries. Needless to say our large pizza came out first and my 3 year old had to wait for his. When his pizza came, he had to wait for it to cool. The fries were MIA. When reminded about the fries, were told that they were coming. Had to wait several minutes and went through a few pizza slices before they came. When the fries did come, they were full of black particles. We had hoped to ask for ketchup to go with them as we noticed there wasn't any on the table, and waited 5 minutes to eat them, but our server didn't return to our table until much later (after they were eaten) when she asked if we needed a box. This is a prime example of poor management without...
Read moreI am sooooooo disappointed 😞 this family chain was bought out after the owners retired and the new owners promised to keep it the same. They've changed everything that I love about this restaurant. Their pizza crust used to be amazing and now it's plain and underwhelming. They've changed the dough, they've changed the meat, they've changed the sauce, they've changed everything. And it's a shame because they were one of the best pizza places around. Everything I loved about this place has been destroyed! They've ruined it! And I don't think there's going to be any coming back from it now. Edit: 9 months later and they continue to run this once amazing restaurant into the ground. There's nothing they won't change. The chicken was practically the only item they kept original, but alas, that's been destroyed too. I honestly don't know if I'll come back here again. It's a shame it...

I was in the Carrollton area for business and had finally had the chance to try this Hometown Pizza location. I have often driven by this location and heard about it from locals. We arrived around dinner and the restaurant was starting to fill up. Our server came to our table immediately and reviewed some of the popular dishes. I ordered their Grilled Chicken Salad and an individual 'HomeTown Special' pizza made with pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, pork sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and black olives. The salad was plentiful and filling and I had to take my pizza to go which I heated up and enjoyed later. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and even the manager came out to check on us during our visit. Overall, a great spot for pizza, salads,...
