WaBa Grill — Restaurant in Carson

A little out of the way to go to at this point in life, but well worth the drive. It is located just off the freeway. Which is a really nice place to stop. The shopping plaza used to have a Target store there, but it is now been removed and they are building something new. Regarding the waba grill, the food is cooked when you get there, it's served hot and ready to eat and with a smile and the question, "Is there anything else I can do for you." My answer today was, "No." They provided me with the two meals I ordered, the bottle of tea for my son and a glass of water with fresh ice for me. I love their little get it yourself bar that has fresh be cut onions and other greens. You can add these to your bowl to make it just a little more tastier. I have never had a complaint about any of the food that I I have eaten at Waba Grill. I do think the prices are a bit high based on others that have very similar products, but if there's no place else to go the extra buck or two aren't bad. Restrooms are clean, tables are clean and the floors are kept spick-and-span. if you're down in the area and are hungry, drop in and see what they have to offer you. I was DISAPPOINTED of my order, I've order a steak plate and another plate for half chicken and half steak and plus the girl offer if i wanted to get extra meat for almost $5 on top of the regular price and i did accept but when I open the plate with the extra meat it looked the same as the other one that i didnt upgrade i was mad for the company ripping off customers like this so I think that's just a rip-off it's not worth the amount of money, I paid over $30 dollars for both plates is my last time buying to this franchise on top of this they lack of condiments. I ordered a waba veggie bowl and simply asked the young girl Karla to put the veggies on the side and she told me that she can't do that she said I have pay for a whole rice bowl and a side of veggies which is $2 more. When I finally convinced her to just put the veggies on the side she told me that she was only gonna give me half the amount of rice and when I got it, it was less than half. I ate the whole bowl and was still hungry and I paid $10 for it. Never had this problem at any other Waba grill. The manager is usually mean here too....
