Based on my experience I should take my business somewhere else. I spent a few thousand dollars at Floor and Decor in the last 30 days. The lights are ON but there is nobody there. really.
For example, I was there twice yesterday. In both cases I experienced what I would consider poor customer service. Last night was another poor customer service example, everybody is just sitting around waiting but not helpful i purchased $250 of tile for example. The quality of the tile also has been going down. Earlier in the day we were looking for tile and you guys keep shutting down the isles to stock inventory, well we could not reach a certain type of tile that we needed to purchase and decided to go look at Home Depot and got it there for cheaper. Not only that but instead of your customer service rep that was moving all those pallets to stop and help he chastised me. Leson learned. Purchased that tile at Lowes.
I called a few days ago and was on hold for over 30 minutes and could not get answers on some T spacers if you have them in stock or not so i went to Elite Tile in LA and purchased there
3) Glass Tile with mastic on back manager balked at taking it back Purchased 448 glass tiles, 4 of them had issues, 1 was cracked and 3 had mastic on the back and could not use them. Well the 3 with mastic on the back that were already used sometime ago by someone else your service representative would not accept them, after speaking to the manager i was able to return 1. he made such a big case out of it. I had to explain my story 3 times, once to the cashier, once to the assistant manager and then again to the manager. Poor customer service. I am buying at other tile stores now all my glass tile. no more Floor and Decor. 4) I am interested to see how my return will go today:I purchased $600 worth of tile a few days ago, its REALLY poor quality, everytime we try to cut it it chips a lot, i want to return it now, this tile ended up costing me money and time and I had to stop my project. My contractor has a few expensive tile saws, and in all the cuts this tile chips, I had to stop the project and pull down 3 tiles from the wall but I am upset and I want to return all the tiles including the cut ones, it seems that some tile is JUNK at Floor and Decor.

   Read moreVery disappointed with the customer service and the lack of shift management knowledge of company policies I bought a vinyl floor cutting tool that i was not happy with and brought it back for a refund, i was first greeted by a young girl and i told her that i wanted to return the tool, she asked me why i wanted return it, i told her that it didn't work, she took the tool out and wanted to examin it, and said she needed to get someone to look at it, i became frustrated with her answer and i told her why do i have to wait for some one to look at the tool that looks unused and i have my receipt, she replied that this is the policy I responded by : show me the policy which she. couldn't produce, by this time a young male manager came and she told him that i wanted to return the tool and he asked me the same question: what is wrong with it and I told him the same answer" didn't work He said that this should go through warranty Then i got more upset as i told him i bought this tool 2 days ago, it's your problem and I shouldn't be held lible for your defective merchandise and you should show me your company's policies about not being able to return defective merchandise I told him that i wouldn't be treated this way at home depot! Then he went and told the girl to go ahead and return the tool, I think floor and decor in carson should reevaluate their customer service policies and retrain their employees to be more sensitive and customer oriented Otherwise they eventually will lose more customers As a flooring contractor, I will think 10 times before recommending floor and decore in carson to any of my clients as well as me buying merchandise from them in the future before they change their customer service Lots of other places would love to get my business and treat my as I...
   Read moreI went to Floor & Decor in the city of Carson. The worst service ever!!!!! I went to purchase a sample of tile with mother of pearl for a back splash. There were 2 registers with lights on and no one working either register. After waiting for 7-8 min. I had to go find someone to check out. There was a girl at the returns register and she said to come to her. So you now have to go to the return register to pay for items you are purchasing. They had no signs telling you to go to the returns to purchase items. When the cashier rang up the item, she said it was $55.99. The price on the shelf and on the actual item said $34.99. I told her they had to honor the price on the item for $34.99. She said she couldn't do it. I told her I wanted to speak to a Manager. She called for a manager and no one came. After waiting for over 15 minutes I asked her where the manager was and she said she didn't know. Now there was a long line of people waiting to check out behind me. The cashier said the manager now told her to override the price to the actual price on the product. Once the cashier did the override, she still needed the Manager, who's name is Caito, to come and do the actual override. Again, the Manager didn't show up. Eventually (after waiting another 10 minutes) someone in the flooring department came to do the override. It wasn't the Manager, Caito. The service was terrible. I wasted 45-50 minutes just trying to purchase 1 sample item. For such a beautiful store that has wonderful selection of items, their staff is terrible.
