What is wrong with this McDonald’s? Only ordered here because it was the only one on my way home. I placed an ONLINE mobile order here. once I get to the store I told the staff my name. They couldn’t find my order, so I show them the receipt on my phone. They tell me I have the wrong store. I go back to my car and place the address on the receipt into my gps. It says I’m less than a minute away. Ok so YES I did have the right store. I go back in and show them I have the right store. They say sorry and look for my order. They did in fact find my order and tell me it still needs to be paid for. I’m sorry does the McDonald’s mobile app allow you to place an order and allow you to choose to pay at the store????? NO!!!! I show them I have already paid in my gmail and on the app. They get the GM and right off the bat he tells me there’s nothing that can be done. I still need to pay. He was not helpful at all and refused to investigate the situation. He acts like I’m trying to steal from them. I show my TWO receipts!!!!!!!! He said there was nothing he could do with a mobile code! I SHOW HIM THE MOBILE CODE!!!!!!! he plugs it in and still he says I need to pay. Even after showing him with two forms of receipts he still says there nothing he can do. I try to explain I need my order and he snaps at me. Zero customer service experience, and a good GM would have just had my order made with me showing him TWO !!!!!!! (TWO)!!!!!! receipts. It’s not my fault the system was messed up. He also show have showed some restraint with dealing with the situation. If you can Maintain yourself during a Confusing situation, then you should not be a GM. I was nice and polite the whole time. I didn’t deserve to be treated so poorly just because the gm lacked the knowledge on how to Problem Solve Technical difficulties. I’ve worked for McDonald’s before and the customers was the reason I chose not to work for McDonald’s. However I didn’t not deserve to be treated that way! I was polite… and right in the situation. I just want...
Read moreI was a victim of xenophobia, profiling, and stereotyping when I visited this restaurant this morning for breakfast. My buddy, and I had gone there for breakfast, and conversation. We got our breakfast, and sat in a place where the folks at the counter could see us. After about a half hour, I went up to the counter to request a coffee refill. The manager interrogated me asking me if I had purchased the coffee there. My response was: "I'm sitting over there where you can see me, and I'm holding a MacDonald's cup in my hand. Where else do you think I got it?". The manager was incredulous that I asked that question, and, more so, that I didn't understand why he asked me if I had purchased the coffee there. Either this man really lacks common sense, or he paints every customer that walks through the door with a broad brush of distrust, and suspicion. Lousy for business. The restaurant was nearly deserted at a time when it should have been packed with customers, and I can see why. I am forwarding a copy of this complaint to MacDonald's headquarters. I won't be returning to this MacDonald's.
Is a coffee refill (the possibility of giving one to someone who shouldn't get one) worth giving your restaurant, and the McDonald's corporation a black eye? ...
Read moreI just had the worst experience here, it’s 11:04 on Christmas day Not many resturants are open - I got here at 10:56am and decided to wait till 11am so I can go ahead and order some breakfast Thru the glass doors the employees inside assured me that at 11am they would open the doors so I could be able to order. Mind you I came here walking and wasn’t going through the drive thru. 11am came around And I rang the bell once more. No answer, after ringing it a second time the man that told me the resultant would open at 11am proceed to make gestures signaling he would like me to go through the drive thru (mind you I came walking) He then looks away without me explaining or making any gestures so he knows I came on foot. He walked away, basically - Once more I tried to get his attention to relay to him that I had been on foot. Man comes back once more and proceeds to give me the middle finger. I was left baffled. I attached some photos of the man and the mcdonald’s location Honestly worst...
