Circle M Cafe — Restaurant in Carthage

I always place orders to go. And the food is delicious. But if i ask if they have any baked potatoes left the person that answers the phone acts like she don't want to check like she don't have time i know they get busy. But i want to know so I can get mashed potatoes if They are out of baked potatoes so they won't be putting what they want. They put turnip greens a couple of times and I don't like them . Also I like to choice the gravy I want along with extra gravy cause it is almost dry on the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken by the 2 minutes to get home. Also at lunch u have to ask about dessert and drink cause they won't tell us it comes with it. And Texas toast. The waitress Lindsey lied to me and the owner didn't care . I will never go back there again !! To update from my last visit to the Circle M Cafe there was a big misunderstanding. The lady that i encountered was the cook not the owner and when the owner called me to apologize for the inconvenience I felt so bad for what i wrote because she was not there. She's one of the sweetest ladies i have meet in a long time. I'm a salesman and travel all over the tristate area so when i come into a town i look for good home cooked meals. Tried to follow Apple Maps directions to this place, and it got me lost- lol. Luckily, someone in our car located it as we drove past following the Maps direction. This is a little gem located across from Panola College. They have daily lunch specials. Husband had the chicken fried steak and he cant wait to get back to it again. Said it was in the top 3 he has ever had and he is a fanatic for CFS. Meatloaf was okay, but not the best i have had. Their veggie sides are home cooked and are good.
