Santoro's Pizza & Burritos — Restaurant in Carver

So I’m terribly disappointed today with this place. I come here all the time. My daughter orders for me all the time. Today I placed an order at 5:40. Man on phone repeated some of the order to me ie: tomatoes, toasted etc.. than told me number 67 about 25 minutes. Myself and my husband got there at 6:10 pm. I can see him from my car, no one else is in place, just him. So inside wasn’t really busy, not to say they weren’t busy with phone orders, I don’t know. He waited about 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge him. The cook asked him, what his order was? He told him. And he said no order for it, no slip. The girl asks him what he ordered, again he tells her, no order. They tell him if he waits they can do it. My husband returns to car to tell me what’s going on. And I tell him we have waited long enough. So I look at my cell phone and yes it’s their number, so I get out of car and show them how I called them at 5:40. At this point they could have said sorry and things would have been ok, but no, now all of a sudden no one knows Santoros phone number, so I hit dial it rings. Again I hear I’m not sure that’s our number, again I hit dial it rings again, and I said pick it up it’s me. I hit dial again just to prove a point. Guy says if you wait we can make your food. Girl asks again what we ordered for a third time. I said don’t bother I’ll just never come here again. If people working there do not want to be there, maybe they shouldn’t work there. Maybe they should have handled this a bit different. You lost a customer that has been going to Santoros for years. Or maybe they just wanted to eat food we ordered, I don’t know. We spent $52.00 on a large sub, mozzerella stick and a small calzone... There was 2 pieces of turkey on the large sub!!!!!!! 2 pieces of cheese on the LARGE sub!!!!!!!!!! Almost no pickles and jalapenos on the sub when we asked for EXTRA of both.Why whould you EVER spend good money on SKIMPY subs?!?!?! We could get this quality at Subway!!! If you value your money i HIGHLY SUGGEST you do not waste your money at this place!!! SANTOROS, YOU OWE ME!!! I SUGGEST YOU REDEEM YOURSELF AND REMAKE MY ORDER (WHICH I WILL PAY FOR) AND SAVE YOURSELF A REPEAT CUSTOMER WITH REPEAT BUISNESS... SMH...

Edit: when confronted with a legitimate complaint online thru the review process, the owner (instead of meeting my challange and supplying a paying customer with a sufficient order) (which i clearly said i would pay for) replied to my review with snideful remarks. Saying that i MUST be a "competitor or Spam"... I am simply a paying customer.... A customer who paid $51 for a large sub, an order of mozzerella sticks and a calzone. When did it become standard practice to OVERCHARGE for garbage food and then blame the customer for your HORRIBLE food and service... DO BETTER!!!

I understand as a buisness owner tou are upset with my review. But you need to spend more time in your pizza shop overseeing your workers to make sure they are making your food well so you can keep local homeowners in Carver happy so we continue to frequent your establishment. Totally disappointed with our last take out order. All previous times, everything was great. We've ordered from this place many times in the past. We ordered a cheese pizza, Chicken tenders, fries, garlic parm chicken tenders and a Calzone. Total order was almost $80. The only 2 thing that were o.k. was the calzone and pizza. The reg. chicken tenders were flat and soggy. Almost like someone cooked them in a microwave. In the past they were crispy and definitely not flats. They were delicious and one of our go to place for chicken tenders. The fries were undercooked and mushy. Now the garlic parm chicken tenders..... It's like someone soaked them in oil. They were drenched. The taste was gross. I can't even describe. We ended up throwing out the chicken tenders, fries and garlic parm chicken tenders. Nobody in the family was going to eat them so why waste space in the fridge? So aggravated because for the money we spent, we just had a pizza and calzone. Not sure if it was a different cook. But the food did not taste like the Santoros we had...
