Cornerstones Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Carver

Went there for the first time with two other friends we was asked to show ID two of my friends did (I wasn’t drinking) server said this doesn’t look like you it says you were born on 1982 that means your old and you don’t look old he said that is me it’s an old picture , she said okay leaves and comes back she says I need to see your id again cause this doesn’t look like you you look much younger than that . First of all we don’t need to explain that my friends lost over 140 pounds and now has facial hair , he was upset it was humiliating and we walked out the disrespect don’t want to pull a race card but I should cause we were the only black and Puerto Rican people there and we are not from that area wanted to try something new will be reporting the service this was unacceptable and unprofessional my friend is oissed off which makes me upset we was trying to have a good time gathering and this happens I never even heard of this also I had to put at least one ⭐️ cause I wouldn’t be able to...

Our recent experience at Cornerstones in Carver was a mixed one. We arrived for a late lunch at 2:30, intrigued by the positive reviews we had heard. The truffle fries and teriyaki chicken wings we started with were delicious.

However, our main courses took a downturn. We ordered the steak tip dinner with corn and mashed potatoes, which lacked any flavor and seasoning at all, along with a garden salad with steak tips. Both steak tips were requested medium-rare but unfortunately were not served as such. Mine, in particular, had excessive char, making it challenging to discern the meat's actual quality—an aspect I found less appealing. Moreover, the garden salad, priced at $21, was challenging to enjoy due to unwashed veggies, an unexpected oversight for a dish of this caliber.

While the appetizers were good, the main courses and salad left room for improvement. Perhaps, it could be that we didn't make the optimal menu selection 🤷🏽‍♀️ not really sure if we’d go back maybe just for the apps...

Would absolutely recommend this restaurant! We had a large group of 16 from out of state and had plans to visit Edaville Railroadand. We wanted some food and drinks before heading there so I did a call ahead, in the morning, to see they could accommodate us. I was told they would do the best they could to accommodate us, depending on how busy it was. We got there as planned and we were all seated within a few minutes of our arrival. The waitstaff was efficient and friendly. There was clear management present in the dining room, which helped everything run smoothly. The food came out in a timely manner and it was all delicious. 16 of us were in and out within an hour and a half, which allowed us to get to our destination with time to spare.
