If you can ignore the rude owner, you'll enjoy the cheesecake. I really do not understand people sometimes! In response to comment: Thank you for the refund, though not necessary. If this was all about Covid, perhaps you should be wearing a MASK while making and serving? How ironic you say I am taking this lightly? Your actions do not meet you words. Why a cooler outside of you business instead of right inside the door? Multiple people walk throughout your complex and you can not keep an eye on it each second as we realized with my toddler. The reason is simple. You are not taking Covid "lightly" for YOURSELF...You are taking it "lightly" for your CUSTOMERS. No one can come inside so YOU are protected, you do not wear a mask while baking, serving, and putting food in unsupervised container. Further, my kids did not "rummage" through that cooler. While they are 3 and 5, you know they touched the top of it and quickly lifted the lid while I was trying to support your small business and order online. I honestly do not blame them for a random cooler on a sidewalk. Please rethink your policies before I return. We like your shop and you should have apologized instead of deflecting. I would have loved that much more than a refund and would have never had to defend myself after being accused that I am taking the...

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - the owner is clearly not business savy. Kid was clearly either stoned out of his mind or had no idea what he was doing. Would not recommend leaving someone alone in the store if they've only been there for 4 days.. He did not know how to handle a cake and broke the bottom of mine And seemed incredibly lost and confused. I understand there is a staffing shortage but if you have seen your staff I would definitely leave them with newer staff because it was very poor customer service. Edit: Dropped down to one star. The level of professionalism from this business is clearly lacking. Noticed other reviews clearly state their teenage staff needs more training. More power to the boss for being so defensive on behalf of their staff, but how about you train your staff so they don't feel insecure at work, rather than being so generous in you're snappy replies. Will not be coming back, or recommending to friends.

Edit 2: owner changed her reply to come across more polite, which good for her but it doesn’t change the fact that her initial reaction was unprofessional and the service was still poor. Recently went back (per request of a friend who wanted cheesecake for her birthday) and noticed a change in staff. So she must have taken the comments about needing proper...

Placed a pickup order for 2 whole cheesecakes for a party well in advance. We were really excited to try this place after reading all the great reviews. Online ordering was very easy and convienient. Purchased 2 different flavors and we were all really disappointed. They were both pretty bland and we couldn't taste any flavor in the raspberry or the oreo one. All 12 of us agreed that the flavor was seriously lacking. Also, 1 of the cheesecakes had a very large crack along the top (pretty much the entire length of the cheesecake), which my mom and I noticed after we picked it up. If I wanted a cracked cheesecake I would have made it myself. Lol. And it was super noticeable and no way they didn't see it when packing it up. They were not the friendliest either, didn't greet us or say hello when we entered. Both employees looked unhappy to be there. I also ordered several slices when I arrived to try as well as the whole cheesecakes and she didn't use gloves when boxing up the...

Mixed experiences. Wish descriptions were better. Asked about peach cobbler cheesecake. Told it was crust, peaches + NY cheesecake. Cakes are shown uncut side out or are whole so can’t see the layers. Cobbler was slightly gooey bread-ish and some peaches. 1/3 crust / dough. Didn’t like it. I would have loved peaches in cream cheese which is delicious. Tried it and it was too much bread, not enough cheesecake. Went immediately back so see about exchanging, but I get it. Typically would suck it up but it wasn’t as described and no one to give it to so it’s a waste. I wanted yummy cheesecake so bought a peanut butter cup slice. Again, couldn’t see the layers. But it was really great. Just wish it didn’t cost me $14. So maybe ask to see the slices…. I’ve been a couple times. Sometimes the flavors are really good (death by chocolate) other times so-so. I’ll just be safe and stick to the standards.

Simply scrumptious. This is the place that's supplying the local Cary favorites (like Doherty's) with cheesecake...and you really can't go wrong with grabbing your own slice that's both fresher and cheaper. The Death by Chocolate we slice we picked up was rich, creamy (closer to a NY style) and more than enough for two people to make a meal out of. The peanut butter bar I also picked up was exactly as it should be, not overly sweet and focusing on the peanut butter instead of the chocolate. With a firm body and delicious texture it's perfect for picking up in your fingers and snapping one good bite after another. This place is worth the calories!

I was visiting from out of town, and always try to check out local fare. I’m glad I tried this place out. They had a nice amount of options by the slice, especially considering that I went a few minutes before closing. I ended up getting slices of the caramel macchiato and the death by chocolate cheesecakes. They were both rich and delicious. The caramel was good, but I didn’t get a lot of coffee flavor. The chocolate was really rich, and it took 3 days to eat the whole slice, but I’m not complaining. It was definitely good. I recommend this place, and will stop by again if I’m in the area.
