Long Wongs — Restaurant in Casa Grande

Had a great first experience and at first I left a 5 star review. That was my review when I was dealing with the owner. If I was the owner I would really evaluate who is representing his store. First wrong order. Quit answering the phone 15 minutes before closing(bad business) then because my kids ate some of the dry WRONG WINGS. The manager would not replace the full mistake. I finally would not argue with the man and I just made sure he knew that he was not correcting the complete wrong order!!! I really don’t believe the owner would run his business like that. Mistakes happen. That’s life but closing early and not answering the phone shows what type of pride someone is taking in his business. Then thinks while these wings sit around all night(mind you I had to feed my kids frozen pizzas due to this mistake) now my kids still was sneaking a few because they wanted wings!!!!and a certain kind of wing. We can’t afford to eat out all the time so it’s sad that this individual was ok with not making a wrong order right. Was ok with I gave you 30 wrong wings well here is 15 of the order right. So did he just sauce these day old wings and give them back? I threw them out cuz that is gross and concerning. Did he put my old wings back in sauce buckets then make others food in those same containers ? Sounds like a health dept issue idk. Idk why if after overnight someone ate half a wrong order entitles the business to only replace half a wrong order ONLY IF THEY REHEATED DAY OLD WINGS THAT THEY DONT KNOW WHERE THEY HAD BEEN AMD TOUCHED ALL THE PLACES NEW ORDERS WOULD TOUCH TOO. I do g think he knows what food safety is. Maybe he doesn’t have to do a food safety program but is working with food. Gross on all levels. Don’t get yourself sick or worse by this irresponsible “manager”. Maybe I’m wrong about owner too. I left such a good review on him until this issue. I guess we will see if he reaches out if he cares or not. If this review is still up then he clearly doesn’t care. I have to remove our picture of good time we did have as this is not something I can support on many levels. Zero stars. Google makes me leave 2 stars for some reason. So my follow up is if your strict policy is to not do the right thing then we are better off without. My son said wing tasted weird so I threw them out so I don’t fully believe that somebody didn’t do something wrong to those wings. How do we know after you finger through DAY OLD WINGS that your team does proper food safety procedures before they start supposedly making “new wings” . I’m gonna bet my life your manager on duty that did this has a food safety certification so I REALLY DOUBT ALL IS DONE SAFELY…..KEEP THOSE THINGS…WE OBVIOUSLY DONT HAVE SAME VALUES FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. Where can I even begin??!! Last nights fiasco was a disaster. My husband arrived at the restaurant at 7:01 pm placed the order and by 8:45 he had only received HALF of our order...and not only that but the half he received was LUKE WARM like it had been sitting for some time and tossed in a box. Then he asked about the second half of our order and no one could even tell him how long it would be before it came out of the kitchen. Now I am all for supporting local businesses but this is 1 business in casa grande that i will never give my business to. I told my husband to get our money back and go to popeyes on the other side of town because atleast at that place i know all of our food will come out of the drive thru window at one time. Sorry long wongs but your food and especially your service is far from ready. Your staff is unprofessional because instead of doing their job through a dinner rush your cooks are just laughing and joking around in the kitchen-true definition of someone not caring about the quality of their work and just showing up for a paycheck and this post comes from someone who has managed many businesses and most of them have...

I was not sure about doing this review because I love that Casa Grande is getting new businesses. I'm not one to bash anything new. I understand that all new places need to adjust and, at times, work out kinks. But I will not try this place again. We ordered wings, zucchini, and cheese sticks. Out of the dozen, we had about half be pink and the other half over cooked and hard. The cheese sticks we noticed were almost empty and more batter. As for the zucchini it had no flavor. I have been to other Long Wongs, so I was looking forward to their wings and zucchini, but it was nothing like what I had had at the other two. I would not recommend this place unless they make some changes and consider cleaning up the place smells like old oil and a bit dirty. Please also clean your drink station and mop your floors. Another thing was it was so loud with music in the kitchen and tvs near the tables.
