What an absolutely delightful dining experience we had on Saint Patrick's Day at Creative Cafe... Was looking for a place to meet halfway from Tucson and Scottsdale and fortunately the cafe was open on Monday, Many other places were not. It was so great to experience the excellent hospitality and service especially of a business that is so community centric. Special thanks to our servers Jessie and Debbie and thank you to Terry the owner for offering us a Saint Patrick's Day treat. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and house made my tuna melt was the best I'd ever had- and all their sides and you have many to choose from our housemade. I had the macaroni salad.. Even though it was busy the owner knew my friend and I had not seen one another in 15 years and we were not rushed. They had a corned beef and cabbage special of the day and I should have ordered 1 to take home. Absolutely worth the stop off I 10 coming or going... Thank you very very much to all for this family owned eatery. J in Tucson

The food really elevated the experience. I was surprised. I'm excited to eat here again because the flavor of my dish was amazing. I ordered the regular burger with sweet potato fries and let me tell you, when a place can do the basics well its exciting. The flavor and the textures of each item made the dish very well rounded. One thing that was a little uncomfortable was the seating arrangements this place seems to get pretty busy and its good to have a busy restaurant but the booths were so close and low you could hear the peoples conversations right next to you and everyone starring at each other with alot of foot traffic all around kind of made it a little chaotic. When I go back I will see how the experience is. Maybe ask for a different seat. If I can find one. I'm sure you'll love this place 🍀

We stopped by here on the way back from Tucson (yes, a little out of the way) and had a great dinner. Service was great. They were attentive without hovering and my daughter and I both walked out stuffed. Picture below is my wrap (Thai wrap) with small cup of soup de'jour, the chips and salsa appetizer we shared, and her full size Caesar salad with chicken. Chips came out hot from the fryer and only 'complaint' is food was delivered so fast, we barely tucked into the chips before it arrived. We're not down this way very often, but we will definitely be back the next time we are.

We thought the food was good, I had a burger with swiss cheese and green chile and I thought it was very good, my husband had the gyro which he didn't care for but we can't say it was the restaurant because my husbands taste hasn't come back after Covid almost 3 years ago. Sometimes food doesn't taste well or even taste, and other times food is great. So it's hard to judge. Our server was at our table fairly frequently but we weren't ready and she said she would be back. Well she must have gotten busy because it took a long time for her to come back. When we arrived a server for drinks asked what we wanted and we said Water no lemon and ice tea no lemon, the both arrived with lemon, I told her that I said no lemon and I'm.allergic to it she asked if I wanted a bowl of lemons, unfortunately it took a bit to get a water without lemon. I told our server and she said they are used to people wanting more lemon and they would talk to her. That incident made me a little uncomfortable because we have a friend that is allergic to gluten and we don't feel like it would be dafe for her to eat here. They do have gluten free items but that's not accurate because everything is cooked with gluten items so if you are allergic it wouldn't be a good idea. If you don't have food allergies then it's a good place to eat. This was our experience and how we were told they cook. No separate cooking surfaced, or...
