Denny's — Restaurant in Casper

Our service was great, we always go there for Kayla. She is a great server and always remembers our orders! Kayla always works so hard and doesn't need a notepad to remember orders. She is very kind and friendly whenever we walk in and makes sure the people that do come in get the best service possible. The reason I am giving a one-star review is because of another worker, Tina. She is apparently the boss but doesn't act like it. Kayla had been working since 8 this morning and shortly after we had arrived and taken our order, she sat down to talk with another customer. Tina was talking to another employee while both were sitting, and had a snarky comment to say about Kayla because she was sitting down after working a long shift. Saying " Kayla is just sitting on her rear end" while Tina, herself was doing nothing. It was really inappropriate and quite immature to make a comment like that around customers and employees. We also noticed Tina being snarky to people who were in the back such as the cooks and other servers. With acting like that and having little to no respect for employees she shouldn't be in a higher position like she is. The way she was acting was embarrassing and unprofessional. If she had a problem with Kayla she should have talked to her personally instead of talking to other people about it, and we noticed she raised her voice and looked over at Kayla specifically when...

My husband and I come in every month to celebrate our monthly anniversary.

We went in last month Nov 30 and it was slow.

We waited about 5 minutes before we got seated; we were not greeted when we entered the restaurant. She sat us and took care of a few tables before getting our drink order. We waited about 7 minutes before she came to take our drink order. She had 3 other tables besides us. She came and got our drink orders and because it took so long for her to get to us we ordered then and there for our meal. We both got sodas and a full size order of nachos. Food time was quick. Once the nachos got to us didn’t take long for our sodas to empty. For half the meal my husband did not have a refill on his drink. She did not check on us after she dropped off the nachos. And she did not get us refills. She didn’t even drop off the ticket. I had to add up the cost of everything plus tax and leave cash on the table😂 despite everything I left a $2-$3 tip on an $18 bill, because I work as a waitress myself I know how it is to get no tip on a table.

Atmosphere here feels very lazy. There are usually workers or relatives of workers / spouses of workers hanging around in the booths to the right of the bar.

Nachos are still...

The food isn't bad but the service sucks. I ordered a smoothie for my drink and wasnt brought a straw for it until right before my food was brought out, my boyfriend also ordered a chocolate shake and we had to ask for it 3 times before it was brought to the table. One of the times I stopped a waitress walking by to ask for the shake and when I called out at first she ignored me and when I called out the second time she rudely turned around and snapped "what?!" I had asked for water and never got it, our waiter checked up on us once in the time we were there but never refilled the coffee cups. We were there for almost 2 hours and most that time was spent waiting for our order to be taken. I will say I do appreciate the one waiter busting his butt to make sure everyone was taken of, he is the only one who stopped by our table to offer refills on drinks or see if we needed anything. In my opinion that man deserves a raise and is probably the only one that knows what they're doing there. I would not recommend going here unless you have a LOT of time to kill and have the patience to wait over an hour for your food or any...
