Myself and a guest from Houston decided to give this place a try. It was absolutely horrible. I don’t know how to put it any nicer. We split the wing appetizer that the menu boasted about being smoked. They were fried at absolute best and had zero smoke flavor. We also thought after not finishing them that we should pay and go eat somewhere else. We opted to stick it out. I got the brisket and rib combo. I asked for the brisket from the flat and the waitress said what’s that mean??? That should’ve been clue #1. I was told many years ago to get the sauce on the side for bbq to get a real taste for the quality of the food not the sauce. As you can see by the picture the ribs were hammered and dry didn’t even bother to peel the silver skin off the back. The “brisket” was pot roast from a crockpot at absolute best. I’m sorry but we both love bbq and neither could even force down hardly any of it. I’d recommend finding another spot to eat. McDonald’s is down the street and might be serving better...
Read moreThe service is terrible and we didn’t even get seated. We came in and there was no one at the hostess area, we waited about 10 minutes before the hostess actually came out of the kitchen. We thought maybe they were short staffed and waited. Several people came in after us and waited as well. We were ready to leave when the hostess finally came out and asked how many people we had. She gathered the menus and silverware and said follow me. We started following her and a man who came in after us stepped in our way and said “that’s our table, we’re on the list”.
We guessed he had either reserved a table and the hostess didn’t even bother telling us that there were people ahead of us. Or there was a misunderstanding and the hostess wasn’t being clear who she was talking to. Either way there was barely any communication from the hostess at all on top of having to wait 10 minutes to even see the hostess to begin with. We decided to leave so we wouldn’t have to wait even longer for a...
Read moreWe are from out of town and my sister-in-law found this place. We have big rv’s + tow vehicles. There was lots of parking in surrounding close businesses. The outside looks like a gas station, when you go in it looks like a a fun bbq house. They quickly accommodated all 9 of us. Super friendly, and attentive staff, we got our drinks quickly as well as cornbread. When we were getting ready to order the power on the block went out. They communicated that to everyone quickly and efficiently. It smelled amazing and we were willing to wait. After about a 15 minute wait the manager and our waitress brought us out a feast of family style food of what they had available. Not one item was not phenomenal! The power came back on right as we were finishing up, and they way under charged us for the amount of food they brought us! From beginning, through emergency, and to the end everything from the food atmosphere and staff were amazing! I could not recommend...
