The Rib Steak House — Restaurant in Cassville

Ate here a couple weeks ago and was not happy with the food at all. I ordered fried pickles, an 8oz sirloin medium with a side of a baked potato and it came with a salad, I got Caesar. The fried pickles had little to no flavor and where $12 for maybe 3 spears. My salad was not even a Caesar salad, it was the regular salad that everyone else got with Caesar dressing on the side, lettuce, arugula, croutons, and cheddar cheese served on a tiny plate that just made a mess. My baked potato was burnt. My sirloin came out mid-rare to rare, which would be fine but the outside was burnt and hard. It was also the fattiest sirloin I have ever seen. For an 8 oz steak I had maybe 5 oz of meat. My whole meal just for me was around $40. Service was fine but the food is what makes a restaurant. If they are going to charge those prices they need to serve their food correctly. My group and I did not even go on a busy night. The dining room was...

Plan on spending 1.5 hour from waiting to finish of meal. This is 2nd time dining there. Tonight I had the 1/2 smoke chicken and it was very dry. The provided BBQ sauce was way to thick. The loaded baked potato was great. There was also 1 asparagus stock and 1 baby onion ring and some bean thing. The fried pickels are amazing and so are the stuffed mushrooms. Also the dining came with a salad that was some sort of mixed salad.

The staff are amazing and very friendly. Every time I have eaten the I have seen the owner checking on customers making sure there experience is top notch.

I would definitely recommend the place and planning on eating there again. You feel like you stepped back in time when you enter to a time where the customer matters. I hope they keep up the great work and find a way to get a moist...

To start, the atmosphere was awful! The smoke from the launge was disgusting. There should be no smoking allowed if you can smell it from the restaurant. Service was horrible. Waitress hardly ever came by and asked out things was or to fill our drinks. Our food, it was disgusting! I couldn't even eat my food and wasn't offered anything new even. Then, I asked for a to go back and the waitress said they don't normally give out to go boxes. Well I paid for the nasty, disgusting food and my pigs will eat. Then the prices, ridiculous!
