Bori Café Bar by Wilmiricans — Restaurant in Castle Hayne

I come here almost every weekend as a treat myself spot, the staff, food, and coffee is always amazing. They are very friendly and remember my order.

The El Bori Mocha - iced + extra shot + whipped cream is excellent. I've tried a few of the pastries and they are always perfectly flaky and not too sweet.

The cubano (sandwich or wrap) is my go-to when I want food food, and the amount to cost ratio is great. Their bread is soft but durable. Their crepes are perfection. Flan is my go-to sweet here and its the perfect amount and subtle flavor. I love the guava pastelitos, whenever they have any dubai chocolate flavored pastries and I can afford it these are a catch.

I've seen them handle not so pleasant customers with grace. If I could give 10 stars I would. I can not recommend...

It’s verrryyy rare that I leave Google reviews, but I had to for this place. I initially tried the WilmiRicans food truck in 2022 and loved it, so I decided to give this place a go. I got a black iced coffee, guava frappe, an entregao (sandwich menu item) and a guava and cheese pastry. Service was prompt; food and drinks absolutely delicious. The ambiance inside is very inviting and home-like. Hampstead has changed in many ways over the last twenty years and this place is one of the changes that I welcome to the 9’s. My only suggestion would be to offer some more plantain-based dishes on the cafe menu, but that’s a minor stipulation that does not detract from the high quality food, drinks, and service Bori Cafe...

I would have liked to give it the 5 stars but there are details that won’t let me. To begin with, the place is small. The “quesito” it seemed like days and not baked every day and without cheese. We had to wait a long time for our breakfast. And for the prices, one expects a full service. We have to pick up the coffee and we have to pick up the food because they don’t take it to the table. The sandwich was ok… The positive??? The coffee was very good, although I would have liked it to be hotter. (I ordered it and they didn’t do it) I could give it another chance because I can understand that they opened recently. The only thing I can wish...
