I had heard this was a good Italian deli from people. Went in today and was pretty disappointed. There’s just nothing like up north anywhere near here. Being from NY when I order an Italian sub, I don’t expect questions like “you want a large or regular?” Or “what do you want on it” - and the bread was from a plastic bag that reminded of the bread from food lion. I also expect a sandwich with a solid amount of meat on it for 20 bucks… see photo. Not much in the fridge and barely and salads for an Italian deli. I think there was just a patato salad and maybe something else. It didn’t make an impression on me. The place looks very very run down as well. I’m still on the hunt for a real Italian deli anywhere from Wilmington to Jacksonville…

Stopped in for lunch and got a meatball sandwich to go. It did not disappoint!! Sorry, my photo is not the best since it was 45 minutes before i got to open the bag. Can't wait to try some of their other dishes. Being new to the area, it was my first time there. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The customer service was top-notch. All the employees at the deli were so friendly and it was a joy just ordering the sandwich. Not to mention the sandwich was delicious and not too expensive.

The establishment has no "motivation" in regards to growing consumer base. They are continuing to feed off the customers that Jimmy had established since opening in the new location in 2013. The value of any product or service is found by the consumer but when a company makes no effort in promoting their own values it tends to lead to decreasing revenue. $18 for a sub that is relying on Boarshead meat to sell it is not going to age well with the developmental growth of the area. This establishment has the ability to outshine many chains that will come but again, the owners lack "motivation" to to attract younger consumers or families. I wish them the best of luck in the coming future, it is hard out there for...

Amazing meats, sandwiches, quality, all types of Italian food items and at the highest quality’s. When you walk into this amazing deli you forget your in North Carolina, you smell the food and all of the sudden your in Italy waiting for your meatballs or any other meat products and their sandwiches (ohh!) they spare no expense at bringing you the absolute finest!!! If you are a tourist, this is a must stop. If you are a local public servant ie Firefighters, Police or Military these folks don’t just say they support their military or wait for you to ask if the have military discounts, they show it and ask you at...
