Located at the 1604 Cantina Food Truck Park, Flama Azul is a hidden gem I stumbled upon while scrolling TikTok—and let me just say, it’s bomb. Seriously, if you’re ever in San Antonio, forget the overpriced food on the Riverwalk and put this place on your foodie bucket list instead.

We stopped here during my birthday weekend because, of course, we’re foodies at heart and wanted to try something new. They have several options to choose from, but tonight we decided to go with the Picanha—and it was hands down the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Juicy, tender, and packed with so much flavor. It also came with a side of chimichurri that took the dish to the next level, plus black rice and beans (the beans were hearty with what I believe was ground meat and bacon), and a Caesar salad that balanced everything perfectly.

We also tried their cheese bread—you just have to trust me on this one. I can’t even begin to explain how delicious it was, but it’s a must.

To top it all off, we grabbed their Brazilian Lemonade—an absolute must-try. It was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy, and exactly what you need to cool down after a delicious meal.

The owner was incredibly sweet, and you could tell her food is made with love—it really shows in every bite.

The atmosphere was great too! There’s music playing, plenty of seating, and even a playground for kids so everyone can have a good time. Just a heads-up though: the parking lot is small, so if you can, plan on parking in the streets—definitely worth it for the experience.

If you’re in San Antonio and want to skip the overpriced touristy spots, Flama Azul is where you need to go. We’ll...

What's up,Family, Big Lou coming at you with another unbiased review on another one of my hobbies, eating!!! Tonight, Sheena,my partner in crime, my girl and I are at 1604 Cantina Food Truck Park in the Alamo City at a place called Flama Azul Brazilian Churrasco and we shared a plate of Grilled Australian lambchop with a side order of beautifully steamed white rice with a huge spoonful of black beans and a Ceasar salad and an order of cheese bread rolls and let me tell you,it's some of the best damn Brazilian food I've had in a really long time, grilled and flavored really good to perfect, Chef and staff were really nice people you can tell absolutely love what they do and share it with us all, thank you for dinner tonight. Come by and tell them Big Lou said feed me something great and they...

Originally I planned on getting the rack of ribs, but they were fresh out, so the attendant who was super friendly and helpful suggested the Picadha or Picahna? I can't be sure how it's spelled, But she even described it to me, so I said sure, I'd try it. And OMG I am SO GLAD that I said yes! The meat was juicy, moist, tender, perfectly cooked, and delicious! The little chimichurri sauce that came with it was a delicious addition. Absolutely 5 stars. Glad they're in my neighborhood! Thanks for the rec! Can't wait to try their...

Food trucks have to compete with each other and none have disappointed. The meat is excellent. Each meal is about $30 and don't forget the Brazilian Lemonade. You can't go wrong with anything you order, but if you want a starting point, go with the spicy picanha (I didn't spell that right). Each plate comes with at least a few pounds of meat, so you'll get your meat fix. And don't forget the little cheese bread bites, those are also delicious.
