My goodness. First off, I want to thank Manuel C., as it read on the receipt. The, highest level of customer service I've ever received at any whataburger in the state of Texas. I mean, I was treated like royalty by this young man. It was, after 3am, and I was very apologetic from the start for I understood it was either late or rather early. However you choose to look at it. But he, with such professionalism, and very well mannered. Stated simply, no worries sir, we're about to start our early morning rush hour so, welcome. And so I ordered lightly to not inconvenience. He upgraded my medium onion rings to a large because he felt he took too long with the order. Not the case, for me. Was fast food without a doubt. And provided me with a drink with no charge to me. Also, for thinking he had me waiting too long. I had to look around on the floor, for a red carpet. Felt the top of my head to make sure I wasn't wearing a crown. I've had the pleasure of dining at a 5 star restaurant. This, a whataburger, with Manuel as the greater, cook,servers. To me, was a privilege, an honor. The level of service I, or anyone should expect to receive at this particular whataburger, the word just doesn't exist. I'll have to go with stellar. Not of this world. Whataburger, the pride of Texas, the food already delicious, taste 100 times that of delicious. This young man should rise to the level that of a general manager over night, if not with this review. I am more than positive he would make a fantastic one. Kudos may I add to the management. Read moreWe waited in the drive thru for quite some time. When we got to the window to pay, the cashier took our card and didn't return for nearly 10 minutes. She came back and said their card reader is down and the manager said we can have the food. We had cash and told them to let us pay. They said thanks and gave us our change. It wasn't the correct amount, they shorted us and couldn't give us a receipt because their system was having issues. Oh well, no big deal, family was hungry, just went home. What they didn't tell us was that they ran our card several times for the $46, then tried to split the bill and ran it again. After we got home, ate, and ran some errands, we discovered these charges on our account. We immediately called to let them know and asked what we should do. They said go in and get it taken care of. Fine, got there, went inside, asked for the manager that we spoke to and waited 15 minutes before he came out. He asked us what happened and said he will get a credit card dispute form for us to fill out. At least 30 minutes later he comes back and said there's no record but he called the manager who confirmed our story. We were told the refund will be processed. Manager went to the back to reprint the receipt and didn't return for over 20 minutes. We were supposed to get a call Monday morning to confirm everything was refunded. Never got a call or refund. Also, we saw several customers go in to complain a out their meals while we waited over an hour.
Long story short, if their system is having problems take the free food, dont offer to pay cash, ask how many times they ran your card, get a receipt, and check...
Read moreSo I arrived at this whataburger store #1102 at approximately 6:25 and my order was placed at 6:34 pm. They took my order and heard me correctly on the speaker. Had to wait 16 minutes to receive my food in Lane B, which I did know the exact time because the order placed tells you that info. They messed up the guys order in front of me literally 5 times. They brought him multiple different bags all wrong each time. They switched out his drink twice which is another reason why I had to wait forever. After they finally got to me they gave me someone else's credit card after I hadn't even paid and then came back right away to take it back and take my cash. They finally came back with the change and asked me if I wanted ketchup. Asked specifically for two spicy ketchups and he even said, yeah no problem man, I got you, and came back later with one regular ketchup. After I had waited in line for 16 minutes my food was cold and my fries slightly burnt, so I went inside to get my two spicy ketchups like I had asked for. All the while the two managers are just sitting up front chillen, laughing and talking while the two runners are outside literally messing up everyone's order. And then had the nerve to tell me that my burger wasn't even cold, and I was over exaggerating. It was clearly not even hot like it should be because my cheese wasn't even melted. Anyhow I asked for my ketchup and left without causing a scene at all.
