The place looks nice, they have a parking exclusive for the restaurant which is great, the ladies that service us were awesome however, their prices and food not so much. Wanted to try this place out with my mom so I went on a Tuesday which was perfect because the place was not packed. My mom ordered white rice, peas, a slice of avocado and Canoa with a root beer soda, I ordered white rice, peas and eggplant with NO drinks. . The rice was ok just normal , the peas were good but I expected at least a little bit of our Puerto Rican flavor which had none , the canoa according to my mom was ok but a bit dry, my eggplant which I believe she said had some type of ""meat (fake of course) "" , I didn't find none and it had a lot of oil, too much I would say for it to be considered "healthy ". The food had somewhat flavor but not that good old PuertoRican flavor or at least for what we're known for. The prices are a bit too much. I convinced my mom to get a dessert. It was a cake I believe made of rotisserie sweet potato , I know it's dessert however, my two thumbs put together were bigger than that slice of cake and it was overly sweet and I have a sweet tooth and it was too sweet for me so you can imagine. I was going to order I believe was a Frappe of Sesame seeds but after seeing the price and not too convinced with the flavors I was like NOPE , I'll make my own which I did . Paid almost $4 for a pound and sweetened with Truvia, I assume I would've paid over $5 for that frappe if I would've bought it. Something else that caught my attention was the cashier was drinking I believe was coffee near the register . For some it's nothing but I would like them to improve that. Or try at least not to drink when attending customers, in my eyes it doesn't look professional but like I said for many that's nothing. The food items are individually priced on the menu board which is on top of the food serving area. Other prices should be visible for customers to have an idea of what they are willing to pay for. My calculations still don't add up and I wasn't paying attention when they were ringing up our food. I prepared myself to pay a little bit more but not that much more. I paid $23 with some change and sadly , I will NOT return to this place. Flavor and prices needs to be adjusted. And receipts should be detailed which I know in a future they will have because if not mistaken they are...

Cozy, hidden gem tucked into a sweet little corner of San Juan! The food here is truly made with love, and it transcends beyond vegan; anyone will love the many dining options regardless of whether you are vegan or not. We stopped in rather late and were delighted to find them open! The staff here is so kind, caring and accommodating; they genuinely enjoy taking care of their patron’s needs and offering amazing service. We had the homemade vegan burger (with mushrooms and lentils) and supreme fries (loaded with vegan toppings), and it was delicious. We also tried a desert carrot cake and cafés con leche (de soja). Impeccable. You won’t even miss dairy or animal proteins. We also sampled the vegan tacos, and again, very impressive and tasty. They even served our dog a little dish of shredded carrots, which was so sweet and kind. The pizzas looked phenomenal, so we’ll try those next time. We highly recommend this awesome spot, and thank the owners/staff for offering such a healthy, fast and vegan-friendly experience. Come and try! You will be...

I came here excited about all the great reviews and ready to eat. Placed my order and to my dismay their credit card machine wasn’t working due to last weekend’s power outage. I didn’t remember my pin to take out cash from the ATM, got frustrated, and went back to cancel my order.

Here’s what he said to me, “I would never turn away someone who’s hungry. I know you tried to get money from the ATM and it’s not your fault our credit card machine isn’t working. Please eat this food now and come back to pay when you can”.

WOW! That’s never happened before at a restaurant. So my first impression from these guys is that they are awesome people to say the least. But let me try their food now...

It was just as amazing. Vegan food with all the taste, filling, healthy, everything I expected and more. They have this sesame seed smoothie that’s addicting. Parking was easy. Great atmosphere and happy smiling customers all around this place!

Trust me....I’ll be back again, not only to pay them back but to eat here again and...

Absolutely awesome food, fabulous service, lovely place. All four of us were very sorry that we ate there only once, right before we headed to the airport. We are always on the lookout for vegan businesses and this one was the first one we wanted to eat at when we got to PR. However, COVID-19 had affected the working hours of El Punto Vegano, too. So we ended up having only one meal there. Oh, but what meal that was! Totally worth us almost missing our flight back home, haha. So my partner and kids had different versions of vegan pizza and empanadas, I had the pastel, as recommended by the wonderful young lady who helped us. Great, great, and great!

This place is incredible! It doesn't look like much from the outside and the interior is very unassuming. The food is unreal! The personal attention from the kitchen is equally impressive. I had no expectations because, overall, the vegan options in Puerto Rico have been limited and lackluster, but this breaks the mold. The vegan pizza is the best I've had even in the states. The crust is innovative far beyond the trending cauliflower varieties. I was already full, but had to keep exploring. I operate but left without any lethargic aftermath. The food is that pure/ fresh. I will be a regular!
