Excellent enchiladas and chorizo eggs - and they have Mexican Coke! I drove past Rita's so many times, put off by the drive-in configuration, and the fact I'm not much into tacos. But tonight when we got back into town late, and saw they were still open, we walked in to find a sweet diner with a complete menu. I chowed down on two perfect chicken enchiladas, and my spouse got the chorizo plate with beans, salad, and rice. It's great to find an all-night place in Cedar City, but even better to find a great place to enjoy bouncy Mexican music and delicious Mexican food!

This place has really yummy breakfast burritos but that is about it. DO NOT order their chicken or asada burrito because you will get pure meat wrapped in a tortilla. You can’t even call that a burrito. It’s a disgrace. Who wants to bite into a “burrito” of just meat? Their asada burrito has a little bit of pico de gallo in it but that’s it. Try their breakfast burritos, they are much better!

I don’t normally write reviews but this was disappointing. I get prices have gone up, and that’s fine. But the mix breakfast burrito today was just sad. The hot sauce containers are almost wider than my burrito. Hardly had anything inside the burrito. It was pretty much all tortilla. Disappointed because this is usually my go to place for a quick bite

One thing is for certain, Ritas is the mf go to after a night out at the bar, a football game, a drunk session of D&D, etc... So that's why I gave it a 5 star for atmosphere. If I can be here more than four times after a night out, then it's def the atmosphere here...aside from it being 24/7.

As it pertains to cleanliness, I think it's best if you just ask to wipe your tables yourself. It's always two people working, so they're obviously busy. Yes restaurants should maintain cleanliness, but idk, kind of feels like you're part of the crew when you clean and take care of it yourself. Kind of like you're family already just helping out. That's the vibe the place gives.

So, the food. I tried the menudo last night (10/5/2024) and it was to my liking and pretty reasonable pricing too! The broth was rich to me and needed no salt unlike some other restaurants I've tried. The tripe is honeycomb, so if you got trippophobia? Then excuse yourself. The tripe itself was tender, but not as tender as I wanted it to be, like melt in your mouth tender, moreso like chewy. Also, there were no tendons or bones with the soft cartilage like this other restaurant I normally seek out for menudo. But it is cheaper here and is reasonably priced. The flour tortilla? I swear to God is so good, they NEVER disappoint me when it comes to the tortillas. I believe it's made in house because you can tell by taste and the heat emitting from it. It was 100x times better tasting when you dip it in the menudo!!! If they could let the tripe cook just an hour longer, then my goodness, they'd be...

This store is NOT open 24 hours. I went a couple of days ago through the drive thru at around 3:30am and had a pretty bad experience. Their "OPEN" sign was on, so I went to the drive thru. The man who was there spoke terrible English and I could barely understand him. Over the speaker I think he said "40 minute open," or something like that. I tried to ask him to repeat himself, but he didn't answer. I drove up to the window and waited for about 5 minutes before I had to knock to get his attention. He came to the window and in a raised, seemingly frustrated voice, he said again, "40 minute open." I have no idea what that means. Before I could even ask him, he closed the window on my face and walked away. I'm definitely not coming back here for a while. This man either needs to be fired or taught how to treat customers. Also, if you're not open, DON'T HAVE THE...

I love this place and it's probably my favorite local Mexican eatery. The drive through is more or less open 24/7 (holidays might affect hours sometimes) and they have excellent, authentic style items. I usually go for a California Burrito and my wife loves the chimichangas; they have great churros as well. Word to the wise, however: by default I think some of their burritos only come with whatever it says on the menu (for example: a beef burrito is just a tortilla with beef in it) so you might have to ask for extra stuff if that's what you expect in your burritos. (The California burrito comes with meat, cheese, and french fries so I haven't ever felt the need to ask for more, but I did end up being caught by surprise when ordering a different burrito one time.)

The breakfast burritos are also...
