Years ago the employees and managers seemed like they had zero people skills, or management skills. The floors were always greasy. I've seen children slip and fall on them. I haven't returned to any McDonald's since the morning a McDonald's manager treated me with disrespect and indecency.
One morning I had ordered a breakfast sandwich, but I only received the bun with a piece of cheese. I could tell the cashier was new, so I politely returned to the counter to correct the order. They remade it except it was the same thing just a bun and cheese. I opened the bag in front of the cashier to illustrate what was wrong with the order. I took the buns out of the wrapper, only to see buns with cheese a third time. I was puzzled and so was the cashier. That's when a manger took off their name tag, ran from the kitchen to the register and made an absurd scene. I was told I would not receive my order, nor would there be a refund of my money. I made a report of the incident to their corporate office. McDonald's called me that day and has since apologized to me stating the store managers would receive more training and offered me my refund. I declined a refund and simply stated I would never return to a McDonald's for the rest of my life instead. In a way not eating McDonald's has been a blessing for me. I feel healthier and...
Read moreWe had a mishap where we actually got home and there was no hamburger patty on the hamburger, but it was our fault not theirs. They must’ve misunderstood my daughter‘s veggie burger issue. They thought that I didn’t want the burger just the veggies so anyhow, there is a manager Manager, she had me come back into the store her name was Kay. Hands-down, the best service I’ve ever had from a manager, especially someone who has to deal with customers all day long that are never happy with anything. I just definitely wanna point out that she went above and beyond like my fries were in the bag and she even replaced my french fries so that I could have warm fries with our food when it came back out And also gave me a free drink while waiting. I would recommend her employers to read this and definitely know that if I ever have an opening for a manager, I’m gonna scoop her up and take her lol best customer service ever and that’s pretty hard for me to say I don’t usually compliment, especially when I’ve had to go back to the place after already getting home and finding out my order was wrong and calling and being told to come back, it wasn’t like I was just looking at my food and noticed right before I pulled away. No, I drove home and came back and she made it way worth my time. Read moreI placed an order thru Uber eats, which was delivered very quickly. However, this McDonald's got the order completely wrong. I ordered two happy meals and a cheeseburger meal with a frappe. What I received was two cheeseburger meals and one happy meal with two frappes. Normally not a big deal, but telling a three and four year old that one of them is not getting a toy is just not going to happen. So I call the restaurant and tell them about the issue. Their response to me was that I had to go through Uber Eats to get a refund and reorder it. Uber eats did not do anything wrong. This mcdonald's should be the ones to fix the order, and then call uber eats to come pick it up and deliver it to me. I spoke with the manager on duty and he told me that there was nothing that they could do, even though they were the ones that messed the order up in the first place. It should be the store, making it right and not trying to make me jump through hoops to get a hold of uber eats, which I could not even find a working number for. Because I had two screaming children wanting their food, and me not willing to give one of them a happy meal and make the other 1 wait, our food got cold while we waited for me to reorder the other happy meal that was missing and have it delivered.
