Subway — Restaurant in Cedar Falls

1st time visiting this location on 5/18/23 between 6:55pm-7:10pm. Only had to wait 1 minute in line and was through within a few minutes. Had asked for a footlong meatball that's listed on the menu with the exception of not being toasted. The blonde boy that's at the start of the ordering process with the bread, meats & cheeses ended up putting my sub in the toaster for 20 seconds not even a minute after being asked not too. 1 black haired girl doing the veggies & sauces + cashiering. 1 black haired boy that was a floater between the front & backroom; Caught a glimpse of him smirking when heading out. Not only have a been to a few dozen various locations across the Country but also worked at one for 10 months almost a decade ago. This location is average in terms of cleanliness. Sadly prices at all stores are at least 25% higher from when I was working at a Subway... miss the days of $5 footlongs across the board... and 6" were less than $3... Went to subway at 9:00 on a Monday very hungry and excited to sit down and eat. The workers already had the chairs up and sweeping the floor. The open sign was on but we checked the hours because we thought they were closed. Found out the store was open for another hour so we went in. I have never been rushed out of a restaurant like that. The three workers who still HAD AN HOUR OF THEIR SHIFT LEFT made our food as fast as they could (which I give them credit for being quick) and got us out the door. The plan was to sit and enjoy our meal but since all the chairs were on the tables, we didn’t get that option. They didn’t even ask “for here or to go,” just packed our food in a to go bag. Would give the regular staff 5 stars, as they were helpful and nice. However the young brunette "boss" got super triggered by my order. Got the chicken dipper for my 9 yr old daughter, and she argued about withholding the cheese. Could tell she was visibly frustrated, almost pissed off. Their employees recommended me getting this previously, and never had a problem ordering since. She clearly lacked customer service skills. She wanted to argue that they don't allow customizations, when it would have saved them money lol. I didn't ask for a discount due to no cheese. She needs to take a chill pil!
