This is a great neighborhood park on College Hill near UNI, and recent renovations have made it even better. It is now fully accessible, with an expanded, all-inclusive playground. I understand that a much-needed restroom facility is still in the plans. It also has a lot of large shade trees. The aging picnic shelter has been replaced with a gazebo shelter that can also double as a performance stage for outdoor concerts. I attend the Jazz at Seerley Park event every year. With the recent improvements, I hope that they can bring back other events that have been held here in the past, like Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

This park is a huge play time factor in our family. It is well maintained, clean, & fun for children of several different age groups as; I have children that range from the age of 9 on down to 3 years old. It's also where we take our puppy who enjoys the park just as much as we do. There's also a library there always stocked and kid friendly. There's also places for shaded rest or places to sit out in the sun. Perfect Play Place! Easy convenient location in a great healthy neighborhood! The only inconvenience is the fact that there is not a bathroom and it is not wheel chair accessible.

Great park in the area! Highly recommend if you have taller children or miss climbing the monkey bars. The playground here is tall enough for me, a 5’9 adult to play on with the kids I take care of. I’ve been working with one of my kiddos on climbing up ladders and the arched ladder at this place was a perfect inbetween step. The park is almost always quiet and contains throwbacks that bring me back to my own childhood, like the horses or digger equipment. Last but not least, this park contains a well-maintained little free library!
