This is a great neighborhood park on College Hill near UNI, and recent renovations have made it even better. It is now fully accessible, with an expanded, all-inclusive playground. I understand that a much-needed restroom facility is still in the plans. It also has a lot of large shade trees. The aging picnic shelter has been replaced with a gazebo shelter that can also double as a performance stage for outdoor concerts. I attend the Jazz at Seerley Park event every year. With the recent improvements, I hope that they can bring back other events that have been held here in the past, like Cinco de Mayo...

It is well maintained, clean, & fun for children of several different age groups as; I have children that range from the age of 9 on down to 3 years old. It's also where we take our puppy who enjoys the park just as much as we do. There's also a library there always stocked and kid friendly. There's also places for shaded rest or places to sit out in the sun. Perfect Play Place! Easy convenient location in a great healthy neighborhood! Highly recommend if you have taller children or miss climbing the monkey bars. The playground here is tall enough for me, a 5’9 adult to play on with the kids I take care of.
I’ve been working with one of my kiddos on climbing up ladders and the arched ladder at this place was a perfect inbetween step.
The park is almost always quiet and contains throwbacks that bring me back to my own childhood, like the horses or digger equipment.
