It's kind of hard to write a review of Gyro Hut 2.0 because I have mixed reactions to it. I just came from lunch there and I guess I'll start by saying I will definitely be back. There were some things I found pretty off-putting, though.
The best part was the food. I had a cheeseburger with onion rings. I was asked how I wanted the burger done and I said medium rare, but the patties were closer to medium well. It's not a huge issue, I just wonder why they bother to ask.
The guy at the counter was super friendly and I liked him. I felt we didn't communicate well, though, and that could have been my fault. I asked for a cheeseburger and onion rings and he suggested making it a combo, which I thought would reduce the price, but it actually upped the price because they threw in a huge amount of French fries that I didn't want or need. I ate a few and they were good, as French fries go, but I've never been a huge fan of fries. I'll be a little more specific next time.
The atmosphere... none. It's a boring place. There's no character to the place. It's just dreary in there. And my table was covered with crumbs. I checked another table and it wasn't much better.
The weirdest part of all was how the food was brought out. I expected a plate or a tray or a basket or something. No, they bring it to you in what looks like a small garbage bag. I thought the guy was taking the trash out or something until he put it on my table. It didn't necessarily take away from my experience. I just found it so weird and humorous I had to mention it here. Maybe they haven't been open long and haven't invested in...

Unfortunately since my initial review there's been a change. The current staff that is at the front counter, is unwelcoming and quite lazy. Every time I am going through the purchasing process, I have to almost walk them through step by step on how to make it go through. Also, both of them are on their phone the entire time even when talking to you. What should be a 2 minute interaction, has turned into 5-10 minutes because of them getting stuff wrong on the POS or simply because they have to snapchat their girlfriend before they put my order into the system. Due to this, I have actually avoided dining here when I know these 2 individuals most...
