Boots & Bourbon — Restaurant in Celina

The food isn't the greatest, but it's about what you expect from a bar establishment. You don't usually go to a bar for food. You go to get alcohol or enjoy the environment. The servers are very helpful and polite. Some might think the service is "slow" on busy times, but they also don't understand bars at that point. That being said, amazing service! The atmosphere is pretty unique. There is a random diamond saddle that is supposed to be a disco ball of some sort. I thought that was cool. I was sad I couldn't ride it. I guess no one wants to see a big man on a shiny saddle. It would probably cut me anyway. They have 2 pool tables, a punching bag, and multiple dart machines. The theme is country. They ha e artists on the walls as well, which is pretty cool. I haven't experienced the backroom area since I've only been when it's cold out, but I imagine some pretty cool shows have been put on back there. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest thing around, as for men's restrooms, though I'll give it a solid 8 for a good pl$sing hole. 10 outta 10...

I love boots n bourbon as a place and would recommend them, but for this review I am rating the management. The manager (Julie) last night was VERY unprofessional and my group witnessed the whole thing. She was getting in other bartenders faces’, screaming, and at one point we truly thought she was going to get physical. All over something as simple as scheduling. (We could hear most of what was being said). Not sure how she wasn’t fired on the spot with...

Went here last night with husband and another couple after trying to check out 211 but found it was closed. My husband paid the cover ($3 / person) at which point the bouncer tells us “I was going to open the door for you ladies but your man didn’t tip me”. Is this really how you greet people into your bar? Owner needs to do a hard look at who they put as the face of their business - and treat patrons like you actually want them...
