Honestly, this is what I should have expected from a restaurant out here. Celina, Aubrey, Prosper has been blowing up with so many people moving here it went from there’s nothing here to almost like there’s some variety in food now.
I decided to try this place, got it delivered, and I would’ve rather the delivery have been the issue and not the food. It’s really not worth the price point. There’s better places out in Little Elm or Frisco. Hibachi Fried Rice was really bland, I really could’ve just done better and made myself it at home I just didn’t feel up to cooking. Typical onions, some green onion and cubed up carrots. I guess maybe thrown together with rice and soy sauce?
Also got their Honey Sesame. At least it had some sesame seeds on it.
Next: Taro buns. I had really really high hopes for this being akin to those little Baos filled with custard. No. Horribly dry buns, almost like those squishy styrofoam toys kids can squish and play with? Like dry. Dry dry dry. And the filling is also dry not custardy, not really sweet either, it was just bland. The texture was terrible.
I don’t know how people are giving this place high reviews. Maybe because its been the only place here for so long and there isn’t anything to compare it to unless you live more in city where good food is? Maybe because there was nothing here before people just think this is how it should be.
Update: Even the fortune cookies are terrible. They are bitter and kind of stale.
Don’t waste your money. You can find way way better tasting food for the same...
Read moreSo, I ordered a meal last week for delivery & received a call from the driver approximately 30min, or so after stating he was on Coleman waiting on the train that stopped on the tracks. The young man was very nice & told him I appreciated him reaching out & we would just hang out & wait. 10-12min later I reached back out to him to see how things were going & he stated he was still waiting. I too had been in this situation where the train stopped on the tracks. So, figured I'd tell him what I did in the past to get around it, which worked! I then wanted to reach out to Rice Noodle Management just to make them aware in the event they were needing him back for more deliveries. I asked for a Manager when I called, & a lady by the name of Amy answered the phone. This lady was extremely rude, sounded like she didn't have a care in the world about her customer, nor the situation & I was very disappointed in how she handled the call. I love the food, but Amy would not be my "Manager" if I were the GM managing this business -I...
Read moreThe food is so heavenly that when I get back from college over the breaks I go every couple days with my brother. I get their Spam Misubi and it’s so scrumptious that I buy extra just to take home and sneak it into my room to eat at night. Service is great, they aren’t rude and they take orders and get them out quickly. I love the decour, the store used to be a Dickey’s and you wouldn’t even notice it now.
Only comment I have other than how good it is, is that I went and ordered Six spam misubi for dine-in and the guy taking my order looked at me in shock and horror and said “six?…” I understand that it was like looking into the face of an eldritch horror demanding sustenance, but I died a little...
