My quest for fantastic mackerel sushi in Aurora is over. (Not pictured because I dug in too fast.) Everything here was divine; the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, the sushi. My girlfriend ended up finishing the sake for me since it punched just a little too hard for my tastes, but the Geisha cocktail was frothy in a so nice way. Presentation was perfect in everything, and every piece of sushi was clean and beautiful. Godzilla roll had a lot going on but all the elements played nicely. And the mackerel. Saba. It's marinated sweetly and nearly dissolves when eaten. I'd had something similar once before and was determined to find it again, and finally, I have accomplished that. Also, if you go during happy hour, the a la carte pieces are SO affordable. 👌

It's pretty good sushi and service is great. However I feel like when we order for delivery the sushi is not as good quality as if we were in the restaurant. The first time we got delivery we got some old looking pieces of sushi we just figured they were slow that day and said whatever. But tonight we order delivery again and the sushi looked old and the shrimp in the summer roll tasted like it was sitting in the fridge and absorbed smells from other food if that makes sense. I decided to take pictures this time of our sushi. We will eat there again as we like this place but will not be doing delivery again. We did not finish eating the sushi in the pictures but the rest of our order was good.

We’ve been to this location at least twice but after our experience today - we will NEVER go back! I ordered a sample of cold sweet sake and the waitress brought me an entire glass of what tasted like cough syrup. Once I politely stated that I did not want the beverage she became INCREDIBLY rude. She stormed away and refused to remove the glass from our table. Her attitude was so nasty that we debated whether or not to even pay for the meal, as we were so uncomfortable that we did not want to dine there at that point. At this time I requested the check and some boxes and the waitress was visibally pissed. She came back with 2 boxes barely big enough to fit our meal. I asked her to take the glass away at which point she stated “it’s okay” and left it there again. She finally returned about 8 minutes later with a crumpled up check AND charged us anyway for the drink I originally ordered a sample of. Since the food was on our table at that point - I told her that I would pay for our meal and NOT the beverage. It took her another several minutes to modify the check before charging my card. There is clearly a language barrier but I am a paying customer and the service we received today was appalling!! If you have ever been here you know that it’s at least $50 plus for two or more people. Even if it was $5, you are in a customer service industry. If you are going to treat people like that, choose another profession! The misunderstanding was simply not worth RUINING our entire dining experience. This woman was rude, nasty and had the absolute worst attitude I have ever come across. I eat out often and have never had such disgraceful service....

My review is based on 2 deliveries during the pandemic. I have not dined in or tried any sushi.

Allergies: My allergy is somewhat easy to spot. If you have a food allergy that can't be easily see in the food, you should avoid this place. They ignore allergy warnings.

After ordering for the first time, we received a call because the driver could not find the address. I can understand with streets having the same name but having street, circle, parkway, avenue, road, etc. Pro: they called, Con: they were a little rude in their tone. The correct address was given initially.

We made a note on the order about an allergy. This was ignored. You really can't send the food back when it's delivered. First time, a fluke I guess.

Food was fairly good considering I didn't expect fresh from the kitchen food when it's delivery.

Second order. The driver found our place with no issues.

Once again we noted an allergy. This was not adhered to and no phone call to offer alternatives or acknowledge it at all. I guess food allergies are of no concern to the staff. Lost a star for this.

The food was not as fairly good as it was the first time. The teriyaki sauce was very watered down and hardly had any flavor. Because it was watered down, it leaked into the other compartments and made the other items soggy. The tempura seemed to be not as fresh.

Overall, the food was mediocre with the second order. I see this place has great reviews. I don't know if I'm basing my review on different staff or if the pandemic is causing them to cut corners and offer less than par food for their standard offering and less...

Horrible, horrible, horrible! All the bad reviews regarding customer service are true. I used to come to this place very often because their sushi is very good and made up for their lack of customer service, but after my last experience here never again. Last time I was here I spent close to $200 on food, so I rounded up to $200 including tip, apparently that was not enough for the waitress. The waitress, Sabrina, followed me outside asking for more tips, after my human instinct kicked in and I felt embarrassed I gave her more $10 more dollars, her response was "that’s it?" Whatttt!??! What? Really? Seriously? Hellooooo!?! How is this acceptable and what kind of customer service is this to their regular customer. I have never seen anything like that!? Disappointing and disgusting that they allow such treatment of their customers. Discipline...
