Monical's Pizza — Restaurant in Central City

On 5/28/2023, Memorial Day weekend, we decided to stop in for some food. We knew it didn't look good for us when there were no empty parking spots. After we found a somewhat questionable parking spot, I went inside to scope out our chances of finding a table. Not so good. Every table was full, the line to order was long and the place was absolutely packed. We really wanted our Monical's fix. We rarely get it as we live an hour away. We decided to get our pizzas to go and we even ordered extra pizzas for later. So I make my rather large order to go, and then I stand back to wait. As I'm waiting, I'm watching everything around me. I am so impressed with how all the employees handled the absolute chaos. Not a single person was rude, everyone worked well together, and I received my food very quickly. Everything was still clean and stocked. When I got out to the truck we instantly dove into the food and it is DELICIOUS as always. So awesome job, Centralia Monical's. My family and I were traveling out of state and saw many Monical's pizzas and decided to stop on the way home. We decided to stop at this one. We (3 people) each ordered an individual pizza with my parents getting an individual pleaser and we also got ten breadsticks. The total was about $45 for 3 pizzas, drinks, 2 salads (+4 ranch packets and crackers) and 10 breadsticks (+ a thing of cheese and garlic sauce). We had our dog with us so we decided to go to a different area to eat. My mother asked them where a good place to eat outside, such as a park, would be. They gave us great instructions to the city park. Overall the staff seemed friendly. I didn't have much interaction with them as I was in the bathroom, but my mother said that they were nice. We had also ordered online and when we went in everything was ready to go which I think was impressive as we weren't that far away when we ordered it. I would absolutely stop by again if I ever pass through...

We Fervently do not recommend this location. The food and staff in the Centralia store are both below par, we gave the experience an overall 1💥 and a review of basically " mediocre ".

Our thin crust pizza that was soggy😔, very disappointing! We specifically went there to sit down and enjoy a meal rather than go to Domino's or Casey's for a carry out. We were met by a staff that seemed clueless. Simply questions like ... is a guest allowed to customize a pie that wasn't on the menu sent them into a paralysis. I mean ummm... arent pizzas all essentially customized? The staffs response obviously stemmed from management or ownership there. It was supposedly the owner on the assembly line who gave the final thumbs down on getting a simple moadification on our pie. Then to add insult to injury like I said earlier, the pizza was not done properly 🙄.
