Las Palmas Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Central

My significant other and I went to las palmas around 3 PM on July 16th, this was my first time ever coming to las palmas and it was a terrible experience. We were not greeted at the door, there 2 a total of two tables in the restaurant. After some time, someone finally ( I assume is the manager or the bartender because he walked from the bar making drinks ) comes to sit us. Our server Kirian, comes and asks us what we want to drink (doesn’t introduce herself) which is okay, she grabs our appetizer and drops it off to us and walks away. She goes and continues rolling silverware with her co worker, after 10 mins of waiting for her to return from rolling silverware and laughing with her coworker, she grabs our order. Once she drops off the order, she never came to check up on us, to see how everything was tasting, never asked if we needed anything, and etc , instead she continued laughing with her coworker. My boyfriend had to get a male server wearing a purple shirt to give us Togo boxes and he had to drop the check off to us. After dropping off the check, we sat and wait for our server, Kirian to come and grab the card so we can pay out … instead she’s laughing again with her coworker. Mind you, it’s not like the restaurant was busy, there were only 2 tables when we came in , a 1 Top and a 2 top. My boyfriend ends up bringing the check to our server Kirian because she’s too busy laughing with her coworker rather than working. She drops off the check and asked us if there’s anything else she can do for us, I told her straight up “there’s nothing you can do for us” because you didn’t do anything to begin with besides give us terrible service. This was my first and LAST time I will be back. Kirian was going to get a $25 tip on a $51.62 bill but instead she got $6 and that was already enough. Was out visiting central and come up on this little place to have supper. And it did not disappoint. My plate was filled to the rim. I got the tostada with a little side of nachos is what I would call it and a side of rice, which I did not need because my plate was overrun with food delicious, the hubby got a burrito with rice and beans which he could not eat at all. It was delicious the price you could not eat they were both $13. I think we paid a total of like $37 for everything including the drinks we will be going back. If we’re in central again the salsa was delicious it wasn’t too spicy. It was perfect chips-fresh delicious. Beautiful scenery inside and outside. You could dine outside if you wanted to service was amazing our waitress...

Got a to go order. Emma assured me everything from my order was in the bag. My fault I didn’t check everything. Drove 20 mins home and realized the grilled veggies were not in the bag. Called them. They said I could come back or get a “free” order of veggies next time (20 min drive each way). Free? I asked her just to credit the $5 plus tax. She said she couldn’t. I gave her my phone # and asked for the manager to call. Needless to say, I don’t expect a call and haven’t gotten one. Very poor customer service. Obviously they don’t want me to come back.
