I love the convenience of having a DD in this area, but there seems to be a recurring issue with delays or inattentiveness on the quality control of items ordered through the app for walk in purchases. Today, I was one of two customers that sat for over 10 minutes for their food. For me, specifically, I waited over 20 minutes for one item I ordered through the app and finally got someone to work my order after I said something. (A customer who walked in after me and ordered a made-to-order espresso drink received his purchase before me. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea. š³) The response after I asked was āIām making it now.ā No apology for the the delay. The same for the customer before me who was also waiting for their food for walk-in pick-up. Yeah, the customer was a little frustrated, but dealing with frustrated customers from time to time is part of any service position. Itās a skill you learn, or customers donāt come back.
This brings up another point. The reactions at this location from some of the employees who receive complaints tend to show either annoyance or that having to remake something or support a customer who needed something to complete their order was a hassle. Itās subtle, but itās there. Thatās not a good sign.
I want to make it clear that Iām not trying to put the customer-facing employees here on blast. Food service jobs arenāt easy jobs, and when you have a busy store, any minor problem can sometimes create this huge whiplash effect. I get it. Iāve worked food service, too. You canāt be 100% all of the time, but Iām sensing a pattern here.
I tend to believe these kinds of issues are systemic issues, which really means itās a management issue. Makes me wonder what kind of environment these guys work in, what kind of leadership they have. Hopefully, someone helps these guys out, because your customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT STOP HERE! I have been coming to this location for years now. It recently got a new owner/company rep it seems and has completely gone down hill. With 6 hours remaining before they close they are completely out of everything every single day now. You can't stop in and get a donut on your ride home from work to have energy on your drive anymore. I used to be able to stop in at 2:30 PM and get an everything bagel breakfast sandwich without issue. Now I walk in at 3:00 PM and they are completely out of bagels, there are practically no donuts, no donut holes at all, and no muffins either. This location is right off a major highway so you would expect them to keep up with the demand but instead they have now had many employees leave due to the management change. Completely unacceptable amounts of food, and wait times have substantially increased due to the workers quitting thanks to the new...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHalfbaked muffin & a rude staff person. Stopped by the shop arnd 1pm on Sunday, there were 4 ppl ahead of me. Ordered 1 corn muffin, 1 choc frosted and 10cnt munchkins. When i started eating the corn muffin, i noticed that it was hollow in the middle, looking at it carefully i noticed that it was not baked completely. There was uncooked cake batter still in there. Took the muffin to the pickup area, tried to explain what was the issue. Adorning contemp on her face, the lady at the pickup area asked me rudely, "what do you want me to do about it?". No concern that person might get sick eating half baked goods, no apologies, nothing. I asked her for a replacement. Without checking to see if the other one was good or not, she just packed it up and handed the bag to me. When i opended it, that muffin was half baked too. I did not go back for another replacement, needless to say i will never be going...
