"I can't take Seeing you w/ him 'Cuz I know exactly where you'll be In his gallery." - "Gallery", Mario Vasquez

This song is, of course, referring to my Albacore Lover's Roll ;P.

Happy Hour 5pm - 7:30pm

Had to satiate my sushi hunger pains, so I stopped by Sushi Gallery to quell my fishy desires.

Here's the lowdown on my HH order- Albacore Lover's Roll $6.99-Albacore is one of my favorite fish to eat. It's sweet & quite healthy, being chockloaded w/ Omega-3's. Albacore Lover's is an apropos name for the roll since it sports albacore on the inside as well as the outside. 8 pieces. Delicious & well-made

Shrimp Tempura Hand Roll $2.50-Good size, w/ nice texture coming from the crispy shrimp tempura, cucumber & nori.

I alternated between a couple pieces of the Albacore Lover's Roll & the Shrimp Tempura Hand Roll, w/ liberal helpings of the pickled ginger hither & thither. Both to cleanse my palate & because I just love the freaking stuff.

Seating is adequate, with semi-private tables & the bar. There's a flatscreen TV which had the news on & music being piped in overhead.

Why only 3 stars? Unfortunately, there was neither a welcome upon arrival or a thank you upon leaving. I'm used to sushi spots shouting "IRASSHAIMASE!!" before even being completely in the door. There were only a few customers eating, so it wasn't because of being busy.

I recommend coming to Sushi Gallery during their Happy Hour. I hope the staff can make a more concerted effort to welcome all of their guests, as there are a plethora of sushi alternatives in the...

Sushi Gallery in Cerritos is hands down one of the best sushi spots in the area! From the moment you walk in, the cozy, modern ambiance sets the tone for an enjoyable meal. The restaurant has a welcoming vibe with warm lighting and friendly staff that make you feel right at home.

The menu is packed with a great variety of sushi and Japanese dishes, from classic nigiri and sashimi to unique rolls with creative ingredients. I started with the Spicy Tuna Roll, which had the perfect amount of kick, and the tuna was incredibly fresh. The Yellowtail Nigiri was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and you could tell it was top-quality fish.

The highlight of my meal was the Hot night roll – a flavorful combination of shrimp tempura, crab meat, and spicy tuna, topped with eel sauce. It was amazing, with just the right balance of textures and flavors. They also have a wide selection of appetizers, and I highly recommend the Gyoza and the crispy Salmon Skin Salad, which were both on point.

The service was quick and friendly, and our server gave great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for. The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality and freshness you get.

Overall, Sushi Gallery is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or new to Japanese cuisine, this place has something for everyone. I’ll definitely be back soon! Highly...

If you're on the hunt for amazing sushi that won’t break the bank, Sushi Gallery is an absolute hidden gem. Honestly, I’m surprised more people don’t know about this place. Every time I order, I’m blown away by how fresh the fish is, especially given how affordable it is. I usually grab Togo, so I get a few orders of nigiri and a whole bunch of rolls, and it’s always spot-on. The consistency here is unreal—the flavors never disappoint, and the presentation is always on point.

What really sets this spot apart though, is the service. It’s always so friendly and efficient, whether you’re ordering in person or picking up. They’ve got this laid-back, welcoming vibe that makes you feel like you’re a regular, even if it’s your first time. Sushi Gallery proves that quality sushi doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out—it’s the best kept...

Sushi Gallery is hands down one of the best-kept secrets in town. This cozy, family-owned spot has been serving up fresh, high-quality sushi for over a decade—and the prices are ridiculously affordable for the quality you get. The fish is always super fresh, the rolls always hit the spot, and all their tempura (fried dishes) tastes super clean and feels guilt free. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the warm service. The staff treats you like family, and there’s a sweet, homey vibe with little touches like cute origami art around the restaurant. It’s clear they put a lot of love into everything they do. I always get a whole bunch of nigiri (so fresh!), the Cerritos roll or the hot night roll, and the mushroom bomb! Seriously, this place is a must-visit if you’re craving sushi that’s both delicious and reasonably priced. You won’t regret it!

Always pass by this place and wanted to try it. My wife and I finally stopped by but it wasn't the experience we expected. The server was really nice and she did her best but there were some issues. The biggest thing I disliked was the menu, for salads it only says the name, we need to know what's in the salad too!! So I asked the server and she wasn't sure, it was kind of odd. The other thing I disliked was the size of the sashimi, very thin slivers of fish, not the nice thick hunks of sashimi that I'm used to at most sushi restaurants. This size fish was not satisfying. The quality of the fish and selection was also just okay. I left disappointed and hungry. We will not be coming back here.
