I first have to say that I have been a costumer at Paris Baguette for 14 yr now . I lived next door to one in K town on Western. I have always loved there delicious treats, this is why I’m shocked , saddened, disappointed, and felt compelled to warn others before you make the same mistake I have made giving my money to this place. First off everything has tripled in price , but that was not even the biggest problem . I placed an order last night , thinking everything is made fresh in the morning so I will get completely fresh baked pastries. My Order was dropped off at my door in the morning in an unsealed open box , nothing was put into individual packages nor was there a bag , so it could have been touched handled or exposed to anything , by everyone whom previously handled them . When you order food online especially that was not cheap it should be handled and packaged with care…. Than the quality of the pastries was horrible it was not good at all. This place has a reputation for high quality delicious desert and after being a customer for 14 yrs that was not at all what I received. I called and to complain about the state that my delivery was in and they said they would have another fresh order ready to pick up , so I went to pick it up and the only think that changed was the fact that it was packaged correctly. the order that was dropped off at my door and the replacement order I picked up were terrible . I was given burnt deserts they were tiny burnt and flawed . Nothing tasted good it was horrible. Was also humiliated cause it was a gift and no one enjoyed them. I naught over priced pastries that were burnt and nasty. Don’t waste your money here . Can get better quality at McDonald’s sadly…..not burnt and I...
Read moreSo we were looking for a place to sit and have coffee, pastries and conversation. We looked online and found this little place. It was very appealing with all the desserts as we walked in. There was no wait time at about 9:30 am on a Sunday morning. We walked around eyeballing everything they had to offer. There were custards and fruits in one area with the other area showing their croissants and muffins. I chose an open strawberry peanut crumb bread that had custard and whipped cream with strawberries. It was very good and not too sweet. Another person ordered the berry tart. There are tables outside that were crowded but we found a spot inside. The staff doesn’t really interact with their customers as you make your way around selecting your items then pay the cashier at the end. It was clean and nicely decorated. When ordering coffee, they gave us the cup and we pump our own. It seemed that patrons also bus their own tables. The bathrooms were clean which is ahead a plus. Overall it was about average pricing when eating out but it was...
Read moreVery rude attitude ( July 1st 2023 at 1:40 pm)........ NOT the cashier , the cashier was fine, it was another employee possibly the owner... Food was great ... Coffee was great... This business needs (2) signs to grow UP and to communicate CLEARLY to their customers ... THEIR procedures are not clearly communicated and therefore confusing.
1- Once you grab your tongs and are finished with your tongs they should communicate to you that they want YOU to hand them back to the cashier ( this 3rd. person/employee/owner walk-IN nearly TORE OFF the tongs out of my hands, then proceeded to go behind counter ) ( LAST time I checked HUMANS DON'T read MINDS , posted signs would help to avoid this confusion ) ...............
2- Pay for your coffee FIRST , then the cashier will give you your CUP .......... ( No need at ALL for this 3rd. person/employee/owner to be rude, arrogant, belligerent , yelling the procedure )
Will be go to a different bakery , this business is KAPUT (...
